Good flash drive
Pros: Hey a decent sound card. Gives good sound. No problems. No hiccups. I like it. Good sound for a decent price. No complaints.
Cons: No cons.
Overall Review: It is a decent sound card. I bought it to bypass my on-board sound card on my motherboard to give my motherboard less stress performing other functions. No complaints at all.
Stay away from Toshiba brand Hard drives
Pros: No pros. My Toshiba hard drive in my Acer laptop died in 7 months. Yes believe it or not. It died in 7 months.
Cons: As stated, it died in 7 months. How can a hard drive die in 7 months? I really don't know. Acer needs to nullify its contract with Toshiba and make a business deal to supply its laptops with Western Digital or HGST hard drives. Toshiba hard drives are of horrible quality. I still can't believe that hard drive died on me in 7 months with only approximately 25% of the hard drive filled. Unbelieveable! Wow!
Overall Review: I bought a brand new Acer Laptop with a AMD Phenom II X-4 processor. The laptop is a great laptop. Well all the sudden, I'm getting warnings from my Windows OS that my hard drive is going to fail. I said,"oh its spyware", so I did a scan. After an hour I got it again. Did another scan. Again I got the hard drive warning failure warning again. Well after 5 days of hard drive failure warnings, I decided to get rid of the Toshiba hard drive. I was very upset this happened. I couldn't wait for any warranty policies to take effect. I had no time and I needed a new hard drive for my laptop immediately. I was not upset but downright IRATE because I had to spend my hard earned money to buy a new hard drive. Bottom line people stay away from Toshiba laptop hard drives,. Want Toshiba TV's? Okay. Want Toshiba DVD players? Okay. Get anything Toshiba but stay the heck away from their laptop hard drives. Stay away from their laptop computers too. My friend has one and he is not happy with his
Garbage. Utterly GARBAGE!
Pros: No pros. When I opened the package I was instantly irate, disappointed and surprised that A-Data make such cheap horse dung stuff.
Cons: Okay here is the deal with this product. 1. No cap. I thought it would have a cap. 2. Small but INSANELY CHEAPLY CONSTRUCTED. I opened this garbage and I felt the cheapness of construction right away. Okay so I got 16 gb. However can I actually put 16 gb of my important school data on a piece of horse dung constructed product? Really? I mean once I opened the package and felt how flimsy this usb flash drive was I knew I can't use this stuff for important storage of information. Heck, I don't even think I can use this for storage of anything because it is so cheaply constructed it is not even funny. Being small and full of storage is one thing. However being small, full of storage and constructed cheap to the point that when I touch it or connect it to a USB port that it actually bends is another. I'm actually scared to use this usb drive because it is so flimsy. I'm scared to actually put this cheaply constructed garbage usb drive in my pocket because my cell phone and keys can crush it and it won't work anymore when I want to access files. I'm actually scared to use this junk drive. The only possible use for this stuff is to put my music files. Not to play from but just to store and copy to another drive. Other than that I will not trust the cheaply constructed, and fragile garbage of a drive on my important file. I don't think this thing is going to last one year. I clearly don't. I bought A-Data products before being their RAM memory and older model USB drives. In the past they were good but now? Really? I don't know. There maybe change in their corporate leadership that now emphasizes making cheaply constructed and non-durable stuff, who knows? For all I know I'm clearly disappointed in this garbage flash drive that I don't think I will buy A-Data products again. If they continue to make usb flash drives that are so cheaply constructed to the point that it bends when I plug it to a USB port in my computer than I don't expect A-Data to be a respected company anymore. This is truly a disappointment. I should have bought a Kingston or TEAM brand USB flash drive like I did in the past. This A-Data USB drive I bought is a disgusting piece of junk with no cover/cap and poorly constructed that it will break in your hand.
Overall Review: Very disappointed in A-Data. They have gone down in quality. Really have gone down in quality.
Grossly overlooked
Pros: Good solid power supply. No problems with it at all. No hiccups, no power drains, no noise, hardly ever gets hot, quiet. Had this item for 2.5 years and not a single solitary problem with this power supply. It is a true workhorse that many computer enthusaists just overlook. I turn mty computer and it gets the power it needs with no problems at all. Nada, none, zilch.
Cons: No cons. None at all.
Overall Review: I understand XFX is known for their fine quality video cards. I have an old 4870 that I had on a previous build on this build I presently. It has been about 4 years and that XFX 4870 video card is still going strong with no hiccups. Having said this, if anyone is looking for a power supply that is good with a good price this is a very good alternative. All the Antec, Thermaltake, and Corsaiir are too expensive. XFX gives you a good power supply for a good price. I was skittish in buying it but since I was short on money this was the only one I could afford. I'm glad I did. This XFX Pro850-watt power supply is surprisingly very good, and very reliable. I'm a loyal customer because I will never, ever get ripped off by Antec, Thermaltake and other psu companies again.
Great and smooth working memory
Pros: Stylish heatshield that does not block other dimm slots and other components of your computer. Easy to install. Simple but not overly loud design.
Cons: None. This is some good stuff
Overall Review: I got this memory on a Newegg Black Friday sale for a great deal and I'm glad I did. I can see why this memory is more expensive than others. This memory rocks. I put it in and it just rocks. Smooth working, no hiccups on my system. No boot up problems with my system. I just turn on my system and my programs appears with no problems. My system(third build) 1. Gigabyte 990 FXA-UD3 motherboard 2. AMD FX6100 Processor 3. XFX ATI Radeon 4870 video card-Yep still going strong after 3 years. Transferred from my old to my new system. Great money saving move there. 4. Kingston HyperX-Black DDR3 1600 PC12800 memory 5. TP Link ethernet card 6. XFX Brand Pro Core 850 watt power supply 80 pluse bronze. 7. Kingwin SKS-523 silver computer case-Yes, this case has longevity. It is still being used as my third build. Had it for 5+ years and still going strong. They don't make computer cases like this anymore. Too bad it is a discontinued model.
Good network card
Pros: Value. Good card at a good price. It is working as I'm writing this review right now. No complaints
Cons: None.
Overall Review: Look some people need to learn how to read, really. Just because this card is a gigabyte network card does not mean it has to have Wake-On-Lan. Maybe that guy needs to learn how to read before he buys something. Second, to the Linux users. Linux is free right? Do you ever think why Linux is free? Oh yes...because even though Linux is supposed to be like Windows it is free because everything on Linux is not compatible. How is that for a ummm...ehhh...novel explanation? Look, it is good to be cheap and get stuff at cheap prices but there are limits. I get cheap stuff everyday and proud of it. However you have to understand how cheap you can go. Some of you people complaining over a value network adapter should understand that. If you have drama about it then take your cheapskate selves and plug your ethernet on your onboard internet connection. Oh wait...I guess that won't work because some of you probably bought some cheap and used motherboard with no on-borad ethernet connection. Oh too bad...:(..LOL This is my third build so.. 1. Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 motherboard-Good stuff there. 2. AMD FX6100 CPU at 3.3 Ghz 3. 8GB Kingston HyperX-Black DDR3-1600 memory PC12800 4. XFX 4870 Video card-Yep still working. Transferred from my old system to the newly built one. Now that is how you save money dingbats. Take your old system and find parts that are still viable in today's techonolgy world and use it. 5. XFX Core edition Pro 850 Watt power supply 80 plus bronze 6. Kingwin SKS-523 case-Again this is how you save money. Been using this case for about 8 years and IT STILL WORKS! This is my third build on this case. Too bad it is discontinued. 7. TP-Link gigabyte network adapter.
