Whats the differents between KHX16C9B1BK2/8X and KHX16C9B1BK2/8? The spec and price are the same from what I have found.

The only difference I can find is that KHX16C9B1BK2/8X supports Intel XMP (Extreme Memory Profiles) where KHX16C9B1BK2/8 apparently does not according to the specifications sheet from Kingston.

Question 2

I already have 2 of these in my computer. Would i gain anything for gaming by adding 2 more?

Depends on the game and what you have running in the background. Heavily modded games would benefit, or if you have multiple monitors and/or run a bunch of memory intensive programs in the background.

If you're already having problems running a game, go into your bios and make sure the voltage and timings are set properly. When I installed these the defaults were way off.

hey guys just a quick question. Does anyone know why my graphics card runs hotter when i enable the xmp?

The bios might have a complete profile that it configures to your hardware for overclocking. Like a preset. See if you can configure the XMP independently.

Is this ram compatible with Gigabyte P45 and P43T chip sets? Thanks

The Gigabyte P45 only accept DDR2 per the specification I found online. On the other hand, the P43T does support DDR3 1600, so this memory will work for the P43T motherboard.
