Nice and easy

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX5 10.2MP CMOS Digital Camera with 4x Wide Angle Zoom(Black)
Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX5 10.2MP CMOS Digital Camera with 4x Wide Angle Zoom(Black)

Pros: Ok I'm not a camera guy but I wanted a point and shoot that was water and shock proof. This fit the bill and is highly pocketable. Images appear crisp and theres tons of auto options to choose from. The auto stick panorama even amazed the camera nut in my office.

Cons: Kind of expensive for 10 MP but you do get added piece of mind.

Overall Review: My wife bought a cybershot over 2 years ago and the menu system sucked. It never really took that great of pics either. Well I must say alot has changed and I'm fairly happy with my purchase. I could have got another brand with similar features but I liked the size and build quality of the sony. Also, the fact that this thing take class 4+ SD cards along with mem stick duo's is a great added bonus!

Some issues but nice options

NETGEAR WNDR3700-100NAS V.5 Wireless Gigabit Open Source Router/ USB port Rangemax 2.4/5 GHz Simultaneous N600 Dual Band IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n, IEEE 802.3/3u/3ab
NETGEAR WNDR3700-100NAS V.5 Wireless Gigabit Open Source Router/ USB port Rangemax 2.4/5 GHz Simultaneous N600 Dual Band IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n, IEEE 802.3/3u/3ab

Pros: Ability to have up to 4 SSIDs running, media server, and basically NAS all in a nice space saving package for residential use.

Cons: With latest firmware - When activating guest networks, all network activity stops and your unable to connect. When activating media server system seems to hang and drop your connections.

Overall Review: I did not buy from newegg but did from best bxx. If your looking for a dual band router with NAS funtionallity then its great and well worth the cash. Leave the media server and guest networks disabled till netgear fixes the firmware. I have used netgears WPN824 router for almost 3 years continuosly with no interruptions but now I've had to troubleshoot this thing for almost 5 hours the first day I set it up. Thankfully the forums alerted me to the issues (After I couldn't get the wifi to stay on) it has and overall I am happy with the options that are working (for now.. netbook drops signal where the older route was picked up instantly.. more troubleshooting).

Does what it says

ZyXEL PLA407 HomePlug AV 200 Mbps Powerline Wall-Plug Adapter (Starter Kit - 2 Units)
ZyXEL PLA407 HomePlug AV 200 Mbps Powerline Wall-Plug Adapter (Starter Kit - 2 Units)

Pros: Managed to allow me to put up an additional AP in my home where I would have needed to run 100 ft of either in a house built back in the 20s. The speeds are nice and consistent for fulling data across the wire from my test lab. Have you seen the price, buy 2!

Cons: Documentation is lacking. Latest firmware update is from 2010 though I suppose that means they found no other way to improve the product as its working just fine. Its large

Overall Review: My house is 2700 sqft (less the unfinished basement) with plaster and latte as well as brick walls. MY router sits at one end of the house and at the other is my Den. Never could get a consistent signal there. Converted my old router to an AP and used these an I'm good to go. I may buy another set and use it for the 3rd floor and more my server lab up there to make the wife happy.

You want this!

ASUS Eee PC 1001P-MU17-BK Black (texture) Intel Atom N450(1.66 GHz) 10.1" WSVGA 1GB Memory 160GB HDD Netbook
ASUS Eee PC 1001P-MU17-BK Black (texture) Intel Atom N450(1.66 GHz) 10.1" WSVGA 1GB Memory 160GB HDD Netbook

Pros: It has a textured case, N450 processor, and all the goodies a netbook in this price range should have. The textured case = less of fingerprint magnet. 11 battery life = 6 to 8 real word which is amazing. 3lbs!!

Cons: The keyboard works, but does feel a little cheap. It works and thats all that really matters. I bought the 1005PE-PU17-BK for a partner at my firm and I must say that chicklet keyboard feels more solid. Of course that also cost 80 more then this model and I've found the wireless on this model gets better reception.

Overall Review: I use this as an always on internet access machine. This works great for home or for my commute. I've installed Win 7 Pro and have been using it with the provided 1 gig stick. It performs decent but I am still waiting on my 2 gig stick. IT pros, this thing is fantastic if you need something light to carry around. I run cisco vpn with pdanet to get in to my work network (on my commute) then I RDP in to machines and servers I need to work on. Its great and can handle most admin task. Dont expect this to run sql express or anything though :)
