So big, So Pretty, and it got here so fast!
Pros: It's so pretty! Not a single dead pixel. I was amazed that I ordered this on Tuesday evening, and received it Thursday evening, and didn't pay for any rush shipping. Impressive.
Cons: None so far
Overall Review: I'm a network engineer, and I don't see so good now that I'm getting older. When I saw that I could address the issue's I've been having reading my screen with this stunningly beautiful, huge 27" monitor, and it cost less than a new pair of glasses, I just couldn't resist.
Buyer Beware
Pros: Great stocking stuffer for "Frienemies" Would make a great shim for a functional TV that wobbles.
Cons: Does not work Incites rage Crushes will to live
Overall Review: Plain and simple, it just didn't work. Scanned channels, no channels found. Hooked it up to cable, same result. I've been had. Too much cost/effort to send back.
Great deal, great picture
Pros: The picture on both units is perfect. Not a single dead pixel on either monitor. Picture is bright and beautiful. (a significant improvement over the old CRT monitors I had)
Cons: The controls being behind the bezel make it difficult to turn off\adjust the monitor in a dual monitor configuration.
Love my new PC, which the refurbishment had been QC'd better.
Received my HP Z420 yesterday. The SMS59 to Dual DVI (Y Cable) was missing from the box. Also, when I went to set the new system up, I found the USB ports were mis-aligned with the back of the case, leaving me unable to plug any USB peripherals in the back of the system. The case did not appear damaged. I called support, and they are sending me the new cable, however they were unwilling to cross-ship a new unit. Per support, I removed, and replaced the motherboard, and replaced it, and the ports line up perfectly now (the board somehow got mounted incorrectly during the refurbishment). In summary, while they ultimately made good, they didn't make great.
You'd better get what you like, because their return policies are NOT the same as NewEgg's
I had purchased a receiver, and shortly after, realized I needed a device with a headphone jack. I had attempted to cancel the order immediately, but it was too late. I wrote the company as soon as it arrived to get an RMA, but instead I got a hearty "Go "f" yourself, sorry for the inconvenience." The price was good, the item arrived in a timely fashion, but beware that this seller DOES NOT observe NewEgg's return policies.
