Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 13 Intel Core i7 8GB 256GB SSD HDD 13.3" HD+ Touchscreen 2-1in-1 Ultrabook/Tablet (59359564) - Silver Gray

Pros: Great design

Cons: Delicate

Overall Review: After a very long time studying and learning about ultra books I decided on the Lenovo Yoga 13 with the i7 chip and 256Gig mSATA drive. I went on to buy it at Costco only to find that A: it could not maintain a solid Wi-Fi connection and B: it made a clicking sound, the only moving part is he fan so I figured it's a Monday morning build (after a hangover) so I had it replace. After a few days I received my second unit and noticed two things A: it was built the same day and B: only 18 units later (as per the serial #) it too could not maintain a solid Wi-Fi connection. I tried everything that was asked of me by the Lenovo tech support. Both units I reset three times every time I would update the windows 8 it too was returned. I really like the Yoga 13 for the hardware as well as the software, so I gave it one more try and bought this unit from Newegg. Yes I must be crazy or something but now I have a fully working unit it was build a few months later it also has a different Wi-Fi driver version 1021.6.118.2013 dated 1/18/2013 this Wi-Fi is solid. I called Lenovo back to tell them but they would not even acknowledge their error and did not even know of this different driver. I don't know where this driver can be downloaded but if you have a different driver do try to get it.

WD Red Plus 4TB NAS Hard Disk Drive - 5400 RPM Class SATA 6Gb/s, CMR, 64MB Cache, 3.5 Inch - WD40EFRX

Pros: I have 8 WD Red drives thought I can't go wrong.

Cons: I went wrong, I did not check this WD Red 4TB before ordering. It ran 3 days (72 Hours) and then it does not show up in my PC, the "Tack Manager" shows its running at 90% to 100% and even at boot is goes through HDD fix. Now running WD Diag. I feel it's rigged and will come up with the drive is OK. I see WD wants you to run WD Diag and may need to run a wipe (write O's ) I don't feel I the customer should be fixing a new device. If it was 2 years old OK I get it.

Overall Review: I'm going to get it replaced after this, I need something that lasts.
