I have one, and it doesn't look like the keyboard is lit. That being said. the screen is bright enough that you can see the whites on the keyboard as long as you have it at a 90 degree angel. Once you start pushing past 110 degrees the white fades from view. but people typically don't use the laptop that way

The yoga 13 with 8Gb and only the standard SSD drive is 3.3lbs

Miracast is dependent on the OS you use, not the computer. Since this laptop comes with Windows 8 pre-installed, you will be able to miracast.
