Churnin and burnin baby

Pros: This puppy is extremely fast compared to even my old core 2 duo. It 100% destroys my old opteron 165 (which was overclocked to 3.0ghz). This computer just feels like greased lightning and I haven't even overclocked it yet. I can run 4 videos through convertXtoDVD at once and still use the computer without any issues. It is 100% a powerhouse of a CPU
Cons: NA
Overall Review: It's hard to justify going 1366 when the 1156 parts keep up respectably for the price differences. But I think its worth it... I think the 1366 line will see more new processors.
Updated Review

Pros: It's worked for over three years now. In the world of today, that alone is a feat. But it's still churning along like a champ. Also a shout out to my core i7 930 which is still plenty fast at stock speeds and my radeon HD 5870. Both have aged very well so far!
Cons: It still has the posting issue, but it seems to be a lot less frequent now a days. I have been shutting my PC off at all times when not using it, now that I am more conscious about the energy bill if you know what I mean. Maybe every few times it doesn't post the first try. I don't know if the problem with this board was the fault of asRock or intel. I know that this chipset was intel's first crack at an integrated memory controller and I remember reading something about that causing all kinds of problems. Either way, I've upgraded to two eggs on this one. Which is still bad.
Overall Review: Do you homework, and read plenty of reviews. Although I do have problems, this computer is still a beast.
3 years later and still running strong

Pros: I've owned this CPU for over 3 years now. Purchased back in July of 2010, this processor doesn't feel a lick slower then the day it came out of the box. That's at stock speeds! My last build (purchased around April of 2006) made it until 2010 when I just couldn't take it any more. This machine (built in July of 2010), feels basically just as fast as it did when I built it! I imagine I'll get at least two to three more years out of it (pending hardware failures *knock on wood*) before I'm wanting to go bigger. I'm still wanting to upgrade my cooler and overclock this champ, but so far I have no need to do so.
Cons: None that I can think of! At this point in it's life (3 years) my old Operton 165 was showing signs of its age. This thing so far hasn't!
Rock Solid!!!

Pros: Over two years later this thing is still cranking out serious FPS paired with my i7 930 (stock) and 6GB of ram. I play at 1920x1080 on my 47" Sony Bravia HDTV and I can play games at crazy frame rates!
Cons: None!
DOA

Pros: None. It didn't work out of the box
Cons: Dead on arrival. Wouldn't work at all.
Overall Review: My mother threw away the box so I couldn't get a replacement/RMA. I was able to get a "store credit" for sending the unit back in of $20. However I'm not sure how to actually use my credit. I had been trying to call but newegg customer service was closed for the holidays. I'm not trying to shy people away from this PSU, just that mine was DOA. I guess that can happen from any manufacturer.
Excellent Ram

Pros: Bought this for my girlfriends Macbook 2,1 Hers only had 1GB of ram installed and I figured that I would bump it up in preperation of putting OSX 10.7 on it for her. Swapped out the sticks and the computer booted up like a champ no issues. 3GB are deceted and usable. System runs much better now!
Cons: None. It worked the first time. No Issues
Overall Review: I'm not actually sure that the Macbook can't "see" all 4GB of the ram. I know in a windows environment the system will reserve about 800MB of ram for itself and your PC will report about 3.2GB of ram in the System Properties screen. So it might not be an issue of the macbook not actually being able to "see" all of the ram but rather OSX "takes" some of the ram for itself like windows does.
