Fun and it works

Oregon Scientific PROAW132
Oregon Scientific PROAW132

Pros: In expensive - accurate reading - Works well

Cons: The voice is not really necessary but is fun - takes time to link up sometimes

Overall Review: I have had a non verbal one for years and love it. Just plug it into your meat on the Weber put the cover on wait for the correct temp. a well known on line retailer sells replacement probes for these things for about $6 each. The probe is what always breaks on these units.

Pros: High def screen, SSD and hard drive, thin

Cons: Cheap keyboard, Windows 8

Overall Review: Good value for the money. Amazingly fast start up. Run lightroom and Photoshop quickly. Bigger than I had anticipated but very thin. SSD is great plus 1 tb HD storage. Screen is amazing but with some drawbacks. Getting scalable menus that you can read can be impossible at times. The world is just not quit ready for 4k yet. I use it for photo editing and it is wonderful except for the tiny menu fonts. RAW photos are so detailed and makes editing much more fun. It's called a gaming laptop but I don't game so really cannot comment on that, but for photo editing and general use its a lotta bang for the buck.
