Asrock X99 Extreme6 ac Motherboard

ASRock X99 Extreme6/ac LGA 2011-v3 Intel X99 USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
ASRock X99 Extreme6/ac LGA 2011-v3 Intel X99 USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Good motherboard, great balance overall layout, more ports and expansion than most user will need. Bang for buck price wise compared to other X99 motherboard vendors, came with a wireless antenna too. It's still working and not dead yet. Bios is friendly/easy to update and change settings.

Cons: Rebate took 3 1/2 months.

Overall Review: Great motherboard for X99 platform, good pricing compared to other X99 vendor that offers similar specs of motherboard. Rebate was also a good incentive to get this motherboard.

SanDisk 4GB

SanDisk 4GB microSDHC Flash Card Model SDSDQ-4096-A11M
SanDisk 4GB microSDHC Flash Card Model SDSDQ-4096-A11M

Pros: 4GB, Okay capacity. Package came with adaptors. Price is okay compared to other retail.

Cons: It's a class 2 microsdhc. It's very slow compared to the higher class microsdhc. Would not recommend this card to anyone who is using it as a mobile device for videos. Mobile videos lag big time...Makes me just want to give the card away for free. Don't feel like returning it to Newegg and losing money for the shipping. Mp3 and other files are fine. Newegg should have included that it's a class 2 microsdhc on the specifications of the card. I only bought it for using it as a mobile storage...specially for videos. Have to get another faster microsdhc.

Overall Review: Wouldn't recommend it to anyone..unless you're only using it for mp3 files and regular documentations. The transfer rate is so much faster if you use it with the adaptor on the pc compared to transfering from/to a mobile device.

SAPPHIRE Radeon R9 290X 8GB GDDR5 PCI-E Graphics Card 100361-8GVXSR
SAPPHIRE Radeon R9 290X 8GB GDDR5 PCI-E Graphics Card 100361-8GVXSR

Pros: 8GB Video Ram. Can play any current games on ultra high settings 1080p @ 60+fps, no lagging due to video ram limitation. Low noise fan level, good cooling. Can play 4k games on ultra high settings at 35-42 fps only. Price is reasonable.

Cons: Long and wide, covers up an extra pcie slot.

Overall Review: A great video card and 8GB Video Ram for pc gaming. 8GB video ram gives it head room for games not to lag.

HyperX16GB

HyperX 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR4 2666 (PC4 21300) Desktop Memory Model HX426C13PB2K4/16
HyperX 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR4 2666 (PC4 21300) Desktop Memory Model HX426C13PB2K4/16

Pros: Fast timing DDR4, still working and overclocks well too.

Cons: Price have gone up.

Overall Review: If you don't want to overclock your system then these rams will work right out of the box for you. Otherwise, if you get higher ram DDR4 speed, you will have to adjust the bios in your system for it to work.

Intel Core i7-5960X - Core i7 4th Gen Haswell-E 8-Core 3.0 GHz LGA 2011-v3 140W Desktop Processor - BX80648I75960X
Intel Core i7-5960X - Core i7 4th Gen Haswell-E 8-Core 3.0 GHz LGA 2011-v3 140W Desktop Processor - BX80648I75960X

Pros: Fast, lots of cores, majority of software can't utilize all the cores, except for some video editing software. A great processor for video rending. It's still working and not dead yet.

Cons: Price should be lower!

Overall Review: Overall, great processor for video editing, any other usage would be better off getting a less expensive processor.

MS Win7 Ultimate

Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate
Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate

Pros: Faster boot up times & shut down times. Less resource requirements. Nice interface. More security than other Win7 versions. Better drivers support compared to previous MS operating systems. Win7 updates is faster than Vista.

Cons: It's a speedier Vista clone. There are still lots of issues with the operating system. Some older hardwares are not supported at all. MS charge full price for an updated Vista. Win Xp is not supported unless users have the hardware requirements. Some Xp programs work and some don't work.

Overall Review: Too early to judge if Win7 is going to be the operating system everyone hoped for, but there's not really much choice in proprietary operating systems. Windows Vista is a pretty good operating system as of now. Lots of users are just impatience with it and may or may not have the requirements to properly operate Vista. Every operating system has its ups and downs.
