Pros: Very fast CL of 9.6 @ 2400MHz, 9 at 2133
Supports Intel XMP 1.3 for EZ setup in most BIOSes
Nice removable heatsink design
Passed on Win7 memory diagnostic and Memtest 5.01+
Cons: You could cut your fingers handling these babies (like some reviewers have)!
Other Thoughts: I tested these in serveral passes of Memtest 5.01 at 2400MHz and 2133 - both had NO errors.
However, when I first installed this set in my Gigabyte F2AX88XM AMD motherboard, it didn't recognize the XMP profile timings. I literally had to re-flash my BIOS to clear the previous set of memory's XMP data and then this memory was automatically timed perfectly using XMP. I've never had that happen before! Not a fault of the RAM, but rather Gigabyte on no factory reset of all settings in their BIOS!
Very happy with this set as it has easily passed all tests and works great at either 2400 MHz (CL10) or 2133 (CL9).
Pros: Very fast drive for READs (via ATTO, Crystal, and AS SSD)
No fuss installation (cloned from previous smaller SSD)
Reports normal SMART statistics and health (worry free)
Nice capacity for the $$$
Cons: Slower writes are capped at 300 MB/sec - likely the NAND
Other Thoughts: OVerall an average user in Windows will perform 4 to 1 reads to writes on a hard drive. Given this is typical usage, this drive is an amazing bargain! It has beat my Kingston (faster version firmware) and Corsair Force GT hands down in READs. in writes it's peak is at exactly 300 MB/sec - which is still great as this is true of uncompressible data as well. I actually wish I had bought a second to be honest after having this one for over 3 weeks.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Very nice UEFI (graphical UI) BIOS
Super overclocking beast for the $$$. Out of the box easy "auto Turbo" OC to 4.4 GHz for i5/i7 CPUs. I manually achieved 4.5 and 4.8 rock-solid using Corsair H60 cooler on an i5-2500k (Prime 95 tortured). This mighty-mo(bo) includes BIOS (manual/auto) fan control for CPU (PWM) and 2 add'l 3 pin fans. Also has a 4th 3 pin power header for water cooler pump (runs 100%). For the money (under $100) it's a super board! IT has the same OC settings as the $180 range mobos, just lacks > 4 phase power on voltages but you don't need that for i5 or i7's. Also provides a legacy PCI slot (for my sound blaster card).
Cons: Single PCIe x16 slot for 3D gaming graphics - but I don't do SLI
Other Thoughts: Don't hesistate - this board really is a steal of Z68 boards and has full support for Intel AHCI (SSD drives), RAID, super overclocking capability, and memory timing controls.READ FULL REVIEW
