Question 1

I have an I5 4670K on a  MSI Z87-GD65 Gaming motherboard.  Intel memory specs say: "Memory Types - DDR3-1333/1600, DDR3L-1333/1600 @ 1.5V" on the intel website.  Would I see a benefit to adding this ram G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2133 (PC3 17000) Desktop Memory Model F3-2133C11D-16GXL vs cas 9 DDR3 1600?  If so would there be any stability problems?  I currently have a 8gb stick of DD3 1600 but was considering tossing that and getting this instead of just getting another 1600 stick.  What do you think?  PUBG I hear benefits from faster RAM speeds.  Let me know what you think.

I’d say 1600 is fast enough. I have a crosshair 5 formula z motherboard and I run the ram speed in auto mode, I don’t think that it has ever run at 2133 the one time I tried to manually set it, it crashed pc. I’d say you’d notice a difference with the gb size not speeds.

It shouldn't be a problem.

My rig uses the same RAM with an ASUS board and a Haswell Core i7 CPU in a mini-ITX form factor and it works fine.

NewEgg's notes on the ASRock Extreme3 says it supports up to DDR3 3100 speed, so the speed you are citing should be fine.

Just make sure you are getting the right size case to match the mobo size.

Will adding this to my system already containing (G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL10S-8GBXL) be a problem? I have heard that adding mismatching RAM speeds can be a problem.

The faster RAM will be declocked to the speed of the slower RAM.

I'll be using a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO CPU Cooler and am wondering if the heaysyncs on this ram have a low enough profile that they won't interfere with the CPU cooler. Just wondering if anyone can verify? Thanks!

I have a i7 3770k and Asus MAXIMUS V Formula will this work for my build?

I am running an i7 4770, with an ASUS Z97 mini-ITX board (so a Haswell build), with a GTX 770 card and 600W PSU and this RAM works fine.

I remember the main question for me was finding a RAM package with the right preset voltage to match the requirements of the mobo I was using - this set fit the bill perfectly.

which is better Ripgaw X or Ares Series? All other specs are exactly the same.

It just depends on the style and color you like, specs are the same and they both perform the same, i just prefer ripjaws for their unique heat sinks and the style looks awesome.

Does it run with DOCP?

DOCP does not apply.  Here's a quote from a website explaining what DOCP is: "DOCP is an ASUS BIOS feature on AMD platforms that translate the XMP (which is Intel) settings to a compatible AMD (AMP) form. So that you can use the faster XMP profiles on AMD motherboards."

Question 10

Is there a compatibility issue with the FM2A88X-ITX+?  Spec wise it matches, but it is not listed on the ASRock website, nor does the GSkill RAM Configurator list the ASRock.  My build doesn't appear to post (no video output).

There is no compatibility issue with your mobo, the deal is that mobo's/RAM can't actually list all 100% of every single RAM/Mobo availible in the world at all times on their websites in compatibility lists. It really is just as easy as ensuring the frequency aligns between the two/size/DIMM slots. That's it, it's extremely rare to see timings/cas latency restrictions on mobo's today, that was a thing however 10-15 years ago.
