Pros: Fast machine, hardly overheats, compact and excellent external design. I have been using this laptop mainly for work (recording engineer) and random internet use (mainly Netflix). It has an incredibly short boot up time, have only had it screen lock once (more on that in cons), no BSoD or other acronyms of destruction, and it didn't come with a lot of shovelware for being a refurbish.
Cons: Two main cons I have are it's volume and the one crash issue I had with it. The volume issue is simple to fix, headphones or speakers, it's just ridiculously quiet in my opinion. The screen lock issue came from my first test run with some recording software and some of it's native VSTs, namely FL Studio. Most likely an FL Studio issue, but still worth mentioning because I have never had it happen on any other rig or laptop.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Great case, first desktop for me in 5 years and this case helped. Haven't had any problems with heat and I live in a zone that gets above 100-110 degrees F sometimes. It's close to beautiful and has built in features I love, like the front panel Firewire.
Cons: Not really a con, but I got this as a gift and ended up with only 4 hard drive screws and I can't seem to find the right type online as they are about 1 to 1 1/2 inches long, really annoying.
Other Thoughts: I need more screws.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: I bought this as an upgrade to my 250 GB external. Thus far it has ran cooler then my previous hard drive and is superior in many ways (the last being an Iomega). This hard drive is high quality and extremely cheap.
Cons: I have no cons.
Other Thoughts: Works perfectly fine on top of other device (DVD burners, other hard drives, etc.)READ FULL REVIEW
