The Most Versatile Gaming Case Ever!
Ultimate gamer case? You bet! With a partially perforated package that still finds room for four huge yet quiet fans, you have a seriously cool gaming case, and that's no joke. You can expect the Antec 900 to be ready for lift off, especially with the 200mm TriCool exhaust fan and perforated port atop this stylish case. Even mount a 120mm fan on the side panel! Contrary to some expectations, this case is extremely quiet, unless you have all the fans going at their highest settings, at which point you might hear...something.
The 5.25" bays will hold optical drives, burners, or even (gasp!) your aging floppy drive, and up to six 3.5" drives can be installed in cages behind the fans, arranged along the front any way you like. This case provides a plethora of possibilities, with room to explore new configurations of all the pieces. The PSU, in a departure, is at the bottom of the case, for better stability and thermal environment for the CPU.
The side window on the case, in addition to letting you show things off, provides additional ventilation, either by way of the vented screen or by the fourth fan in the box mounted into plastic for a clear and elegant installation. This is a sturdy case built of steel, with enough cooling technology to keep things frosty in the hottest action. Take one home today and build yourself the "coolest" rig around!

Pros:
- Great airflow
- Quiet
- Durable
Cons:
- Graphics cards don't line up perfectly with back slots. I've had 3 different cards in here and none fit quite right. The slots make contact with the the display connections and the screws cause some tension on the motherboard when tightened.
- No dust protection at all. This case will require regular cleaning, which leads to the next issue.
- Terrible drive slot design. Each front fan is attached to a box where up to 3 drives can go. In order to clean the fans, you need to completely remove any drive that is installed, and then remove the box from the case.
Overall Review:
I would not recommend this product. I've had this case for over 7 years now, and I've been kicking myself ever since. Every time I think of changing a component I cringe at the thought of having to work with this case. It is not a fun process, and I regret buying it. It is EXTREMELY difficult to clean, and will require constant cleaning to prevent serious dust build up.
Installing components the first time may seem relatively smooth, but if you are like me and want to upgrade any component in the future the replacement process is a chore.
While it does have good airflow, the fact that there are no dust covers is a big minus.
The only way I'd recommend this case is if you buy dust protection and never plan on opening it again.
Pros:
Very durable (Lasted +10 years)
Looks great
Cons: Can't think of any
Overall Review:
I love this case! It was the first case I bought when I started building computers, and it's the only one I've needed to buy. I've had the case almost 13 years, and have used it for 2 different setup, and plan to use it again for my next upgrade.
It's small enough to not take up so much space, yet big enough to hold all the standard components, plus a lot of extras. (I've got 2 optical drives, 1 SSD, 2 HDD's, a graphics card, and all the cabling that goes with it, and have no problem with air flow.)
Plus, with the see-through side, I'm able to enjoy the light show from my Motherboard and power supply :)
Pros:
Extreme Durability
Great cooling
Everything you’d want from a case!
Cons: Not a thing!
Overall Review: I bought this case for my first gaming PC in 2009 and it was the best decision I made! I have had zero problems, and couldn’t be more satisfied. The case comes with four fans, none of which failed me after thousands and thousands of hours spinning. Antec really made a quality product that is built to last! Buy this case!
Cons: Case did not come with a manual, web site for downloading manual, did not have the manual, Request for information on the manual has taken over a week and has had no response. Would not Buy this from this company in the future.
Overall Review: No would not recommend this
Pros:
- ATX
- 9 drive bays
- Max 120mm Fans: Blue LED x3 front, Blue LED x1 side, Blue LED x1 rear
- Max 200mm Fans: No LED x1 top.
Cons:
- No dust filters, No fan dust filters.
- No matching blue LED on 200mm fan (only 120mm)
- No radiator mount points.
- Not much in terms of cable management
- Old USB2 front panel
- Plexiglas side panel (not glass)
Overall Review:
Had bought 2 of these years ago before also getting the bigger brother Antec 1200 at that time that included front fan dust filters and LED 200mm top fan so I had a lot of compatible spare parts for a new build. Had to modify the case to put an H100i Pro on top w/ ¼ inch stand-offs (left-side, hoses too short to center) so I could keep the top 200mm fan. Ended up with a push/pull (1x200mm/2x120mm) fan config for the radiator keeping things cool with low fan speeds. Had to cut out the rear fan grill to pass the pump into the case. The style and quality of this case was very good. Had to make custom filters for PSU and front HDD cages and to fill the area that was the rear fan grill.
Tip: If you're into Corsair RGB stuff you can hide some of the Corsair modules in the space on the right-side service panel between the HDD drive cage screw mounts. The front 120mm fans can be replaced with Corsair LL Series for a fantastic look. Just undo the crimps for the original switch based fans and reuse them when installing the new fans.
ASRock X470 Master SLI/AC (rev1.02, BIOS/UEFI version P3.30)
Ryzen 5 2600 6 core (12 thread) 3.4GHz (3.9MHz max boost)
Corsair Vengeance RGB 32GB (2x8) CMW32GX4M2C3200C16 (ver 4.32)
Corsair Hydro Series H100i Pro (full load 52c-fans-quiet/45c-fans-extreme at 18c ambient)
Samsung 970 EVO M.2 2280 500GB PCIe Gen3x4 NVMe
Antec 900 Case (original, modded for top mounting H100i Pro) w/ Corsair CX750M
Corsair LL Series 120mm RGB PWM FANS with Lighting Node Pro (4 fans)
Corsair Commander PRO Digital Fan and RGB Lighting Controller
XFX RX 560 4GB GDDR5
Pros: - Built in fans that provide lots of airflow.
Cons:
- The case is large and heavy but surprisingly there is not enough room inside to fit modern components.
- The Noctura nh-D15 won't fit
- An MSI 970 can't be mounted on the top two PCIe slots due to a circular black plastic mount in the way.
- The screws and fasteners provided are low quality.
- The built in fans are all 3 pin and have manual speed control switches, not convenient for adjusting.
- The fans have some noise to them.
- Side panel is cheap plastic, not glass.
- No handles or grip points that would help with moving the case.
- The power switch is clunky.
Overall Review: Can't recommend this case. It clearly sold very well for many years but there are better more modern cases available for a similar price. The mistake I made was choosing the best reviewed case on Newegg and did not read the recent reviews. I wish that Newegg would put a bigger emphasis on recent reviews or stop counting reviews that are older than 5 years and allow outdated products like this to drop down the list.
Pros:
Lots of drive bays
A large case that had a lot of room
Cons:
Everything in the case either just barely does or just barely does not line up (especially on the drive bays).
The side panel screws are very easy to strip
There are 0 wire management capabilities
Collects dust incredibly easily
Overall Review: 5 years ago this was not a bad case, but this case is prohibitively bad for its price compared to most cases nowadays.

Cons: A bit higher priced than many competitors, but the case is very solid and it does come with 4 fans.
Overall Review: After 6 years with my prior 900 case I got another for my new Win 10 build. Not much has changed other than the top USBs are now 3.0. The fans are included and are very quiet (even on high speed). The case has lots of room inside and the drive bays pull out the front so it is easy to deal with drive changes.
This new version adds a small mounting for a single SSD on the base of the case. I suppose that would have been usable, but I do RAID so I needed to buy SSD brackets to mount the drives in the standard 3.5" bays. Even then, for the small extra cost of a bracket the drive bays are better locations for SSD. My motherboard only had 3 case fan connections, so you will need a spliter to run all 4 fans.
