Cooling my NH-C14S really well...

Pros: I was getting tired of looking at the stock brown & tan fan on my NH-C14S and I wanted to match the black & white fans that came with the case. I wasn't sure if these would work as well as the Noctua fan as these are about 0.5mmH2O less static pressure. But it seems to be working just as well in keeping things cool just as the stock fan on the NH-C14S did. I did have to bump the fan speed curve up a bit. But it is so quiet that it's barely noticeable even at 100% speed.
Cons: A little pricey, but, hey...
Overall Review: I would have gotten the PH-F140HP but that uses 120mm mounting holes. I only have mounting clips for 140mm fans (re-using the ones that came with the cooler/fan). I can't find any size fan mounting clips for sale anywhere.
it was free...

Pros: it was free with the purchase of a vid card... graphics look great
Cons: plays somewhat like an arcade game
Overall Review: at least it was free
Titanium w/ Window... nice, but....

Pros: -Roomy, easy to work with, fits standard ATX (12"x9.6") without covering any cable routing holes. -Motherboard alignment pin...this is the first case that I've worked with that had one. It made a significant difference in the amount of effort required to align the mobo with the mounting standoffs. It only required a tiny bit of encouragement to align an Asus Rog Maximus X Hero. But I attribute that to the mobo's integrated I/O shield. -Excellent cable management. The hole close to the 12v cpu power on the top of the mobo is a bit small but I didn't have to remove any rubber hole lining/cover to get the molex plug through -Easy to remove filters, specially the bottom one. You do have to open the door to pull the filter out. -ModuVent... the R5 has three separate fan slot covers, the R6 that has one long panel. With the R5, you can remove just one cover corresponding to the fan position you want to install and leave the rest covered. With the R6, you will uncover the whole top side when you remove the panel. But, the R6 comes with a top filter, the R5... no filter. -HDD/SDD cage mounting options. -All mounting holes for the SSDs lined up perfectly.
Cons: -Titanium... not quite. Only the front surface of the front door is "Titanium" everything else is Black with some parts in White... oh well... -No filter for the top fan slots... No big deal, just get one of those magnetic fan filters -About the HDD/SDD cages, if you use the 5 tray cage in the bottom position, you lose the ability to pull out the bottom most HDD/SDD tray... but that's not what it was designed for, so... -Front intake fan mounting screw is about 1/8 of an inch too short. It's long enough for the Fractal Design Dynamic GP-14 that came with the case but too short for the Phanteks PH-F140SP that I was adding in. Then again, FD probably wasn't expecting me to use Phanteks fans there. -The ModuVent top fan slot covers are plastic, I was expecting metal... son, I am disappoint..
Overall Review: Disappointments aside, I still give this 5 eggs... Newegg gets 10 eggs for getting the case to me the following day even with the 4-7 days Super Eggsaver shipping... minus 10 eggs to OnTrac for their driver trying to toss the box over my gate, good thing I caught and stopped him.
Noctua FTW!

Pros: I have this cooling an i7 8700K (not OC'd) on an Asus Rog Maximus X Hero mobo -Near identical performance to the NH-D15, slight edge to the D15 -Lower profile than the D15 -Better memory clearance than the D15 particularly if the fan is installed to blow down from the top -305g (0.67lbs) lighter than the D15, both with fans installed -Easy to install -Came with a syringe of Noctua's NT-H1 thermal compound, which is actually pretty good. Comparable to Arctic Silver 5
Cons: not really a con, but...
Overall Review: ...I wish the fan was Black frame with White blades... It would match the B&W motif of my case
B&W with no LED... good for me

Pros: -Higher CFM than the fans that came with the Define R5 -Matches the B&W color motif of my Define R5 case -no LEDs -came with fan cable extention
Cons: -none
Overall Review: I wish it had higher stactic pressure so I can use it in place of the Noctua fan on my cpu cooler
Magnetic frame not magnetized? No problem...

Pros: -Very low profile compared to the old school plastic mounting frame and foam filter combo -Magnetic frame
Cons: -Magnetic frame was de-magnetized... no big deal
Overall Review: The magnetic frame of the filter I received came de-magnetized. It would not attract even to bare metal. So, I ran a magnet over the magnet of the filter to re-magnetize it. Works fine now. Attracts to metal even vertically, no sliding down.
