Great MB!

EVGA 122-CK-NF68-AR LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 680i SLI ATX Intel Motherboard
EVGA 122-CK-NF68-AR LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 680i SLI ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: EVGA rocks! The 24hr tech support from EVGA is absolutely incredible. Quality board with great features, all as advertised. Installation went without a hitch. All of my dumb questions were quickly addressed and answered by their tech support. Love this company.

Cons: Manual could be a little better. Some typos that actually label the SATA slots wrong.

Most Critical Review

Bad Choice

OCZ Titanium 1T 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) EPP Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory
OCZ Titanium 1T 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) EPP Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory

Pros: Shiny.

Cons: After struggling with timing issues and a non-existent tech support, EVGA tech ended up helping me figure out I had a bad chip. When OCZ tech did finally call me back (THREE days later & at 9 p.m.!), he blamed it on the mobo - wrong. Tested chip and it comes up bad.

Overall Review: Will never buy from them again. Stay with Cxxxair, Kxxxston, etc. for reliability, or better yet, contact your MB manufacturer and ask a tech which memory he/she would buy.

wouldn't do again

OCZ Titanium 1T 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) EPP Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory
OCZ Titanium 1T 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) EPP Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory

Pros: Looks cool. EPP is great feature. I got it to work, but had difficulty.

Cons: Tech support sucks. Took them 15 hours to call me back. After enabling the EPP, memory was not being read as advertised. I kept getting a 4,4,4,15, T2 instead of a T1.

Overall Review: Tech support told me they had some bad chips and I had to return it. I forced my MB (EVGA 680i) to force T1 and it works. Still will return memory to get what they advertise.

Drive stinks

Western Digital Blue WD5000AAKS 500GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive
Western Digital Blue WD5000AAKS 500GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: Worked for 30 seconds.

Cons: Got halfway through XP install and started getting copy errors. Re-booted and only got 1/4 as far. On third try, system wouldn't even recognize there was a HD anymore.

Overall Review: I should have paid more attention to the reviews. Bought a new Sxxxate to replace it, and everything works fine. Even tried adding defective drive after I installed new one, but system still couldn't see it.

Great Case

SilverStone Temjin Series TJ09-BW Black Aluminum ATX Full Tower Computer Case
SilverStone Temjin Series TJ09-BW Black Aluminum ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Pros: Great packaging, LOTS of room, excellent case.

Cons: Would have liked to see at least a third fan included, since there's room for five fans total.
