Pros: Works well for me (getting 3-5MB/sec) across two different electrical circuits in an old house. Low power consumption. Units are dead silent to me. Plug and play. Really affordable. Pretty magical to get wired Ethernet without having to run new wires.... Good return policy with Newegg Premier (just buy and return if it doesn't work for you).
Cons: I *hate* that while it takes only one socket, it's designed to take up *two* from the wall (and, you can't plug these into power or surge strips because of signal degradation). Seems most other manufacturers are doing this to discourage plugging into a surge strip. Bummer! So, I am getting some 1FT power extension cables to plug into the wall to free up my other socket. Also, speeds are not as fast as standard Ethernet cable (good for web surfing, but not intense file sharing).
Other Thoughts: Despite what you read, this cannot fully replace Cat5e/Cat6 networking cable. Since my home is partially wired, this is a great accessory item (ex: running a webcam or a difficult to reach room). But, this would be too slow to do full heavy file sharing to/from your local NAS (I get 120MB/sec on my Cat5e wired network versus 3-5MB/sec from this device).READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Logitech Z600 (980-000658) Bluetooth Speakers
Pros: Fantastic looking speakers! Works well with bluetooth (using iPhone and iPad). Room-filling sound. Surprised by how clear the bluetooth sounded. Very, very good speakers. Logitech is a good brand.
Cons: A small bit of damage to speakers: AC plugs were a bit off and a tiny, tiny section of the cloth covering was damaged. This is probably because it does not have the original box.
Warranty is too short (buy the extended warranty for piece of mind).
Other Thoughts: Wow, I fell I got a great deal! These retail for north of 130. Super, super good price. And, did I mention they look really cool?READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: I usually buy WD, but took a chance on these because they were on sale. They work flawlessly on my FreeNAS setup. Also, they come with a 3 yr. warranty, which is a nice bonus.
Cons: Support not as easy to come by as WD or Seagate.
Other Thoughts: Works perfectly on a FreeNAS system:
Dell PowerEdge T20
16GB Crucial ECC DDR3
3x Toshiba 3TB HDDs
3x WD Reds 3TB
