Best Bang for Buck
Pros: OC from mfg., blazing speed, short length card, dual fan cooling solution, fantastic price with bundle
Cons: should have bought two for SLI
Step Backward
Pros: Regular coffee brews faster than older model; Coffee caraf no longer drips while pouring.
Cons: Horrible implementation of frothing system. On the older model, once the brewing of Espresso was finished, you could shut off the brewing function and divert heated water/steam to the frothing tube. Any remaining water in the resevoir was used for steaming/frothing. On this model, once you turn off the brewing, the remaining water begins to cool and you have about 30 seconds of steam at most. Milk only gets warm and never froths. If you add more water, and try to heat it, the water pours out of the brewing dispenser and not the frothing tube. What were they thinking. Useless waste of money. Do not buy.
Overall Review: It's not a question of you get what you pay for. They had this problem solved on the last model. It would not have cost them more to keep that design.
Same as other guy
Pros: Great price for what my sister-in-law needed. Normally I would have recommended a tablet, but she needs to print from this and wireless printing was not an option. She was on a very tight budget and while the tech here is dated, it was by far and away better than what she could have bought for under $200 in the tablet realm. The ability to use this a large touch screen tablet is what caught my eye for what she wanted
Cons: Got it. Plugged in battery and AC cord so I could update W7 while it was charging. EXCEPT, that it didn't charge. Inspected the battery only to find it had a crack in it and it would not charge. Kept getting charge error light blinking. RMA'd it and am waiting for "new" one. I'll get back to you on how it went.
Overall Review: Will update
Large upgrade
Pros: It's like sitting in your kids' inflatable pool to swimming in the ocean. Super easy install. Contents of integral HDD were easily moved to new drive. The large hdd's capacity meter still looks empty after moving 3GB ove the internal over. the 240GB drive was only like $12 cheaper than this.
Cons: With all the pros, still these hard drives are waaaay more expensive than computer internal platter drives.
Overall Review: I think this drive is a ssd of some kind (solid state). If so, then it's cost is now a pro. There's nowhere you can get a 320GB solid state drive for under $80.
