Adequate

HP Elite v2 Keyboard
HP Elite v2 Keyboard

Pros: Easy to use, easy to install, just generally easy. If you want to have a desktop but you don't want to forego sitting on your couch, or if your laptop's keyboard is not up to snuff, this is ideal. It's cheap, and it's effective.

Cons: Despite its ease of use, it isn't perfect. It is not remotely good for gaming as there will be 1-2 second black out periods every five minutes or so. I have several wireless devices so it might be interference. Regardless, they don't have issues (including a wireless mouse) while this does. Not much else to say about it. Also the keys themselves are flimsy. However I didn't expect much more. They're thin and the keyboard itself is thin. You're not expecting great quality.

Overall Review: This simple imperfection leaves it less than ideal for anything other than casual use. You want to browse facebook on the couch? This is an easy and cheap choice. You want a gaming laptop that is so cheap yet somehow doesn't lose quality? You won't find it here. But is that this keyboard's fault? It's not designed for extensive use. It's perfect for lazy browsing and typing. Hence its price point. I would give it 3 stars but since it does exactly what it intends to do, I give it 4. The black outs are unfortunate though.

Deserves the fifth star

TP-LINK TL-WDN3200 Dual Band Wireless N600 USB Adapter, 2.4GHz 300Mbps/5GHz 300Mbps, w/WPS Button, IEEE 802.1a/b/g/n, WEP/WPA/WPA2
TP-LINK TL-WDN3200 Dual Band Wireless N600 USB Adapter, 2.4GHz 300Mbps/5GHz 300Mbps, w/WPS Button, IEEE 802.1a/b/g/n, WEP/WPA/WPA2

Pros: Effective and simple to use. Just pop in the disc to install the drivers and you're done. However I didn't use the in-house software. I'll stick with windows, thanks. Thing is quick - for 25 bucks I expected a flimsy piece that would get me by, but this is a long lasting part if I ever saw it. To give an example, via steam I downloaded on my laptop (with no external adapters) at about 3-4.5 MB/s. I never pushed past that. On the desktop using this adapter (both computers are 3 feet from each other so that's not a factor), I peak at ~7.2, and hover in the 5's. Maybe I just got lucky but I'll take it. Surprisingly durable. I pushed the desktop closer to a table bar than I would have liked. I heard a crack and and saw the adapter on the ground with the usb port angled awkwardly. My heart sank, and I figured I would have to buy another one. However, I pushed on the jutting out face plate, and it snapped back in - in doing so the port reoriented itself and it doesn't appear to have even caused any jiggling or cracks, just an accident the thing was prepared for. To follow up from the above paragraph, the included usb plug is very handy, rather than keeping the thing jutting out in the open to be further smacked into things by my ignorance. I now have it resting comfortably on the desktop itself, so all is well. It's thoughtful that they included it, in my eyes.

Cons: None to speak of

Overall Review: For the price, you can't go wrong. I could easily see paying more for this, but I'm glad I didn't have to. If I ever need another adapter, I won't think twice about getting this.

Better than it looks

Corsair Carbide Series CC-9011050-WW SPEC-01 Black ATX Mid Tower Gaming Computer Case
Corsair Carbide Series CC-9011050-WW SPEC-01 Black ATX Mid Tower Gaming Computer Case

Pros: •Sleek and sharp design •Window for LED possibilities •Easy-to-access functionality (First PC I've built in a long time so I was a bit rusty - everything about this case is intuitive though) •Stock fan has a red LED on it that matches with the red power button light and a light on top as well (it's a line; just for show doesn't do anything else) •VERY Breathable - put a fan in front of this thing and you'll wonder if your parts are even on and that's not even with any additional case fans.

Cons: None that I know of

Overall Review: Honestly I didn't expect much. I didn't want much. Being my first PC in years (since around WoW: Burning Crusade days) I just wanted a good rig, and didn't care about auxiliaries. This case fit the measurements for my parts which were a rather large GTX 760 and a full ATX mobo, and the price point was just what I wanted so I picked it up. The pictures make it look ok, but nothing special. I was quite surprised upon its arrival with how this thing looks in person. The reds are more vibrant, the edges are sharp and futuristic, and it looks like a professional case you'd spend hundreds on. I'm quite happy with it. And that's not even mentioning its functionality as a case and how I have zero issues with it thus far.
