Adesso iMouseG3 3 RGB illuminated USB gaming mouse with DPI / LRD color switchable, back / force buttom, enhance optical sensor

Pros: Great LOOKING mouse.

-Can sometimes save previous DPI/color setting. I suggest if you do buy this mouse, that you set the color you want using the DPI button and then manually set the DPI settings in windows and in your games accordingly.

Cons: Bad PERFORMING mouse.

-M1 Button box inside the mouse died after ONE DAY of use. Luckily I have soldering experience and took one from an old laser mouse and soldered it in this ADESSO mouse which fixed THAT problem.

-Sometimes I'll be playing a game and suddenly the mouse will decide to shoot my aim to the top, bottom, or even stay in the regular vertical position of the screen but start spinning really fast 360's. Other times the mouse aim or even pointer in windows desktop will just float to another part of the screen randomly which makes me lose control of the pointer for a few seconds. USB driver changes or updates do not solve this problem.

-Shipping from UPS was horrible. I paid an extra $6 and change for faster shipping and it took twice as long as estimated by UPS and also UPS decided to hold it at their facility near me for 3 days for no reason. I miss the good old days when Fedex was the shipping of choice through newegg.

-Inside the packaging when I got the mouse somehow there was dirt INSIDE the sealed packaging around the DPI button area. Because of this I had to clean the mouse with a dry cloth after taking it out of the packaging. Must have gotten like that during it's packaging at the factory.

-The braided fabric on the mouse cord is not ideal and frays easily. It was even FRAYED right out of the packaging and cord was KINKED as well right where it's connected to the mouse. This is probably due to the poor design of the way it's packaged with the clear plastic sealed packaging/casing.

-Takes a lot to get used to when using it. It's overly heavy in the back side so I took a weight out while I was fixing the button box. The M1&M2 buttons are way too easily clicked even if you very lightly only lay a finger on them which can cause accidental clicks in very many instances. It's a very large size mouse which also takes getting used to. I was actually surprised by it's large size when I got it, larger than any mouse I have seen in person, and I'm a Computer Technician.

Other Thoughts: -There are other computer mice that look EXACTLY like this on Amaazon which leads me to believe that one company made the design and then sold it to many other off-brand/no-name brand company's like ADESSO. Just go to Amaazon and search "computer mice" and you will see for yourself within the first 2 results pages.

-I should have purchased a different mouse from a better/well-known brand like Corsair, Gigabyte, Logitech etc.

-Sad to say but I don't think I'll buy anything ADESSO after this. Hardly anything about this mouse was done well/correctly.

Crucial M500 CT480M500SSD1 7mm (with 9.5mm adapter) 2.5

Pros: I bench-marked this SSD with "ATTO" and it can even preform a little faster than it is said to in the specifications. Read benched at a max of 520MB/s and a max write speed of about 440MB/s. HDTune does not bench this drive well/accurately so I had used ATTO instead.

Boots Windows 7 for me in under 17 seconds and half of that time is readouts etc. from my mainboard.

Purchased on Cyber Monday for $189. If it lasts a few years and always works this fast it will be very well worth the money spent.

Cons: None that I have seen.

Other Thoughts: Would be nice if it came with a converter from 2.5" to 3.5" so it could be installed into a desktop PC without needing to buy an adapter separately.

TOSHIBA PA3468U-1ACA 75-Watt Global AC Adapter

5 out of 5 eggs Works perfectly. 10/18/2013

This review is from: TOSHIBA PA3468U-1ACA 75-Watt Global AC Adapter

Pros: I've had this Toshiba power adapter for over a month now and it works great, just as intended. Being a Certified Computer Technician I knew I needed to match the amperage and voltage to that of my Toshiba laptop and knew this would be the exact match and work perfectly, and it has. I bought this when it was at $25 with free shipping and once again I am a satisfied Newegg and Toshiba customer.

Cons: NONE

Other Thoughts: Not sure why this was discontinued, it works great. I would no doubt purchase this again in the future if I ever need one.
