Pros: This thing is fast. Seriously fast. Made the plunge and got this, never looking back from SSD ever again. Loaded Adobe Creative Suite CS5 in a matter of minutes instead of the hour it would normally take, Win7 boots in about 20 ish seconds (not counting my external that's hooked up, hanging the BIOS, heh).
Cons: Expensive. These are still hard to justify purchasing, even with the speed gains. And of course, now they have the newer Vertex 3 out right after I buy this, heh.
Other Thoughts: Next SSD I buy will be SATA 6gb/s for sure. I can only imagine.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Where to start? This monitor is a beast. I'm using this as the middle monitor of my tri-monitor setup; it's flanked by my dual 22's. Very vivid colors, the web and movies never looked better.
Cons: The colors and brightness are a bit overpowering when you first turn this thing on, but a little adjusting fixes it. Do what feels good to your eyes.
One thing that does bug me, there's no tilting/adjusting. No up down, even side to side without the base moving with the screen. Since it's my middle monitor, not a big deal but still a noticable con. Not enough to knock an egg off though, since the monitor quality makes up for it.
Other Thoughts: You can use this almost like a TV in your bedroom, this thing is almost as big as my main TV already, heh.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: SAPPHIRE 100924 Active DisplayPort Adapter
Pros: Works just like it says, plug and play. Once I hooked up my new Samsung 27" LCD, did some mucking around with which monitor was the main one and everything is running smoothly. Recognized immediately.
Cons: Nothing so far.
Other Thoughts: Depending on the video card you have, use caution with 3 monitors. I'm running a 5770, which I've not had many problems with, but with 3 monitors sometimes things get a little iffy. Consider that when you move to 3 monuitors, especially if you're looking to game with Eyefinity, make sure your card can handle decent FPS with all 3 monitors set up.READ FULL REVIEW
