This review is from: Webroot SecureAnywhere Internet Security Complete 2014 5 Devices - Download
Cons: A relative of mine was told to buy this by a sales rep at a certain large electronics and computer retailer last year.
Over the weekend I visited their computer, and found this supposed antivirus software running and updated on their system, and yet 3 spyware programs I ran found and removed over 12 viruses, trojans and malware apps. It's like Webroot wasn't doing anything other than slowing down their machine and wasting their money.
I will never recommend this virus protection company to any of my clients.
Other Thoughts: Do not buy.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: G.SKILL 32GB microSDHC Flash Card Model FF-TSDG32GN-C6
Pros: Fast, no errors, and no crashes.
Other Thoughts: Bought this card to bring new life back into an old Droid X. It's disconnected from service, so now it's my mobile mp3/game player,
Definitely noticed a difference in file access speed upgrading from the class 2 16gb that was in there. Pictures load quicker and file browsing is faster.
Pros: Fast, quiet and reliable so far, 2 months in.
Cons: None yet.
Other Thoughts: Back in the mid 2000’s, Seagate was my drive brand of choice, for my own use and recommendations to friends, family and clients. We still have those same Seagate drives running strong 6-8 years later. Then they bought Maxtor and their quality tanked like the Hindenburg. Reviews for every one of their models for the last 4-5 years had consistent reports of DOA's and early life failures, anywhere from 1 week to 6 months.
Now all of the sudden I see this drive on sale with almost 200 great reviews, so for such a low price, I figured I’d give them another try for extra download space, and I’m glad I did!
I've been pounding the !@#$ out this thing for 2 months straight. Downloads like crazy, massive RAR extractions, huge copies to and from other drives to this one. AND to top it all off, it’s been mounted vertically in a dock, so as to stress the motors even more.
I’m extremely happy to say that the SMART report still gives it a Good status, and no errors, noises or trouble. Keep it up Seagate!
