Great graphics card for the price!
Pros: provides great 3D graphics, shows a lot of detail in games. It could process complex physics algorithms and geometry without freezing. All my games run smooth with this graphics card, I haven't experienced any noticeable lag even with the highest settings on. You could also dual graphics card for double the power. The price you pay will not hurt your wallet as much.
Cons: Although this graphics card is excellent for the MAJORITY of gamers out there, do not mistake this as a shortcut for a hardcore enthusiast gamer build.
worst seller to buy anything from
Pros: None
Cons: -Item took over 30 days to get to my house -Description of item was not accurate, instead they sent me a reversed throttle controller and not the U.S. standard. -customer service is not good and unhelpful.
Overall Review: The biggest disappointment I had was that after waiting for over 30 days, they sent me a reverse throttle controller which is not the standard in the U.S. and makes it near impossible to get used to. After I mentioned it to them that it was not what the description said it would be, they did not want to return the item. I will not do business with this seller again.
Look for a better drive or buy a refurbished version of this
Pros: *7200 RPM *good for everyday use and gaming while the drive is in working condition.
Cons: The other reviews are not exaggerating about the number of defective drives this model has. The hard drive died within 2 months of use which made it a huge inconvenience to have to re-install my OS, programs, updates, games, and files. Unfortunately I couldn't just send it in to newegg since I passed the 30 day warranty period so I had to go through Western digital which honestly wasn't too bad since they have excellent customer service. The only thing was they sent a "re-certified" hard drive to me which meant it was not brand spankin new like how I intended my hard drive to be.
Overall Review: If you absolutely MUST buy this hard drive, Save some money and buy a refurbished one since you will end up with a refurbished one eventually anyways.
Great power for price
Pros: 750 watts is great and more than enough to run 90% of the gaming rigs out there. I have an AMD FX8350 processor teaming up with an r9 270x graphics card which could be power consuming. This power supply has no problem with powering my setup.
Cons: none
Really good CPU for gaming!
Pros: I built my gaming PC with this CPU and it just works wonders. This is the best bang for the buck that you could get. This CPU will definitely handle the most CPU intensive games. Although gaming doesn't require anything more than 4 cores and 2.5Ghz, I went and got this 8 core CPU because this PC was going to be my workstation as well. 4.2 Ghz and ability to overclock (not that I even need to) to a 5.0Ghz with no sweat is just unheard of in the Intel world. This CPU also runs at a low heat considering its high processing power. AMD has definitely stepped up their game with their stock heat sinks. The stock heat sink that comes with the FX8350 does the job right . It's a pretty good sized copper heat sink. IF you are to overclock though, I would recommend buying an aftermarket heat sink.
Cons: None!
Overall Review: this AMD 8350 and an R9 290X Graphics card is just awesome. - as always, AMD > Intel -John D. You're mad because you can't handle the fast speed of an AMD CPU so you had to slow down with an Intel CPU. but your wife likes it fast. she can handle it.
