3 out of 5 eggs Now using the replacement mouse sent under warranty... 05/23/2016

This review is from: Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum RGB Tunable Gaming Mouse

Pros: Tunable color accent and weight, enough DPI to go around the globe with an inch of movement, really nice when it works!

Cons: Updated review: The original mouse I purchased died after using it only one month. I contacted Logitech support and they worked to resolve this issue by sending me a brand new replacement. I am now using that, and it is day one on May I will update if this one dies too.

Other Thoughts: I want to give this product a higher rating...really! It's just hard to do that when the first one I bought died so quickly. I am hoping that it was just a bad mouse and not a bad batch, because I am now using the replacement I was sent by Logitech. I am not too sure what is going on at Logitech these days, but between this mouse and the G5 I owned before this...I have noticed a significant drop in quality from this company! The G5 at least lasted me about a year...this one is a laughing stock at only 30 days! I hate to say it, but Logitech does not seem to be the same company as it was a few years ago!

5 out of 5 eggs Ideal for the Red Light district... 05/05/2016

This review is from: LOGISYS Computer MDLED1RD RED LAZER LED

Pros: Bright, long enough cord, low power consumption, low profile for easy install almost anywhere

Cons: None. Some have complained about the velcro that is included. I cleaned both surfaces thoroughly, applied the velcro to each piece, and then pressed and held for several seconds and it works fine for me.

Other Thoughts: I used these to add a little more lighting accent to my gaming rig. With the red led fans at top for exhaust and these placed in the front air intake, the thing looks sweet!

2 out of 5 eggs Looks cool...has issues! 04/30/2016

This review is from: CM Storm Devastator - LED Gaming Keyboard & Mouse Combo (Green LED Model)

Pros: Keyboard: Backlight feature can be turned off on keyboard so you can practice your typing skills. Dedicated buttons for media playback (designed for Windows Media Player but works with others like VLC), as well as system volume. Backlight is not overwhelmingly bright and looks really cool in the dark.
Mouse: The lights also look cool, and the on board DPI adjustment button is a nice addition. The back/forward buttons are my favorite part, as it makes browsing, file searches, and many other functions much easier!

Cons: Update: The mouse scroll wheel stopped working a few months after owning this set. That instantly drops my rating to 2 eggs! Also, without the backlight turned on, you cannot see the keys so hopefully that doesn't die.
Original Review: The keyboard has a delay when coming back from a long pause or sleep state...when you press the first key, nothing registers on the has to apparently "wake-up" itself. Also, both the keyboard and the mouse lose their settings when the computer is shut down. This means that the backlight goes to its default "OFF" setting and the mouse drops to the lowest DPI setting. Just more annoying than anything, but the wake-up feature combines to equal one egg dropped off the score. Better step it up Cooler Master...could have had a 5-Egg review!

Other Thoughts: After owning this for a very short time and having the mouse die on me, I would recommend spending a few more bucks and going with a Logitech mouse and maybe a Corsair gaming keyboard.
