Works PERFECT in my Destiny PS4
Pros: Didn't even turn the PS4 on with the stock HDD. Immediately put this bad boy in and fired it up and installed. Been playing Destiny for a few days and everything is working perfectly. TBH I don't know how much faster it is over stock since I went str8 into it with this HDD. But seeing video's online of others playing I am sure its quicker. My ship is always the first one to show on MM.
Cons: Its not free and cooking me pancakes in the mourning.
Not bad for the price. Nice and big. Solid purchase overall.
Pros: -Big slippy surface -Looks great -Doesn't move at all with the supplied sticky pads on my glass desk. -Noticeable improvement with tracking vs old cloth mousepad. -Solid so much less likely to wear as fast as cloth. -Good packaging.
Cons: -I could see slight pieces of plastic left over from the machining process. No big deal. -The painted DX-5000 label seems to be wearing quickly.
Overall Review: Overall a great improvement from my old pad! I am not gonna take an egg away for the little cons because it in no way hinders function and honestly the wear already looks cool.
works
Pros: works
Cons: not free
Overall Review: weeeeee
Does what it needs to do.
Pros: works
Cons: little feet are worthless lol.
Overall Review: more usb'zzzzz
T500 goodness!
Pros: This is such a solid setup! Everything feels really beefy and well made. The FFB is incredibly strong and the "notchiness" is nominal. Worked great on my desk and works even better on my sim rig that finally came a month ago. Installation is straight forward and simple. There is a real jump in quality over the cheaper alternatives. Another thing to remember is that Thrustmasters will work on ps3 and ps4 on many games so it probably has some of the highest compatibility as well.
Cons: Not much too say here but there are 2 cons that made me take an egg off perfection but they really aren't a huge deal. First of course as you may already know is the fan... Its loud... Honestly for 500 freakin dollars they need to address this stupid fan but you can't notice it when your driving because you should have the volume cranked when racing!!! Other con is the pedals. They are nice and beefy but just doesn't have the quality you get from the wheel. Also a potentiometer for braking is no good and I would recommend a brake mod for it so it senses pressure, not distance.
Overall Review: All in all if you want a serious rig and don't mind spending another hundred or so bucks on a brake mod, you cannot beat the level of simulation for the price. The next step up is Fanatech and before you even get to the pedals you are going to be spending 700 dollars. Both are belt driven so you might not even feel much of a difference between the two. The Fanatech pedals are incredible though...
Lovin it!
Pros: Sounds CRISP and base is nice and deep! Have it hooked up to my ASUS sound card and my PS4 though optical TOSLINK. WOW Destiny is just amazing!!!! The cars scare me in Assetto Corsa!!!! Well worth the money to me. They also have really nice mount threads for easy installs!
Cons: A bit pricey.
