Reliable
Pros: It's a western digital what more needs to be said?
Cons: Price of course. In today's world of SSD's you would think this technology would come down in price. I will be using SSD's as slaves in the very near future. (Hint Hint Western digital!)
Overall Review: Western digital needs to get into the SSD market with their reputation sales would skyrocket.
Love this cooler!
Pros: Beauty, fit, slick light's.
Cons: None so far
Overall Review: I would like to mention that a lot of people gave this fan a poor rating due to the fact that they blew the thing up within a year. In the interest of a push pull configuration I would like to suggest that the buyer look at the specs of this cooler. If one would note that it has a low fan speed of 1000 rpm, with a secondary or middle speed of 1500; then of course a top speed of 2200 rpm you could surmise that an equal pull fan would be required for a balanced set up. I chose the Startech fan as my pull or exhaust fan. With all these whiners that hate noise O M G! You can't expect to do any overclocking with an unbalanced fan configuration IE any old exhaust case fan. Do your homework. And also look with your eye's while shopping. Also if you had any inclination of the quality of this cooler then maybe you should buy the 3 year extended warranty. Despite the whiney little bi..... of this product I can say it works fine. I am overclocking an older LGA 775 QX6850 from stock 3 gigs to 3.66Gigs. As far as mass produced product I am happy with this cooler for what it is. Oh another note have fun finding Zalmans extra fan that can be purchased for the pull configuration DOH! What a pain.
Pretty!
Pros: They work, Bought two for a crossfire set up.
Cons: Don't like that these video card company's want you to butcher the box to get a rebate. For this reason I skipped the rebate process. As a matter of resale I like to keep original packaging pristine. Always a big disappointment when you buy something online and it has a gaping hole in it. (IT would be nice if New egg offered a crossfire connector as a bundle option when you click on the AMD cards.) There's Nvidia SLI connectors galore in the site but I had to physically call Newegg to find a connector which incidentally wasn't offered on their site. In the end it was a hassle to find one at a resale online store since I cannot say the name. NOTE: there is a difference in crossfire connectors. One is Video editing labeled crossfire Pro. You want just the plain crossfire connector.(also different length's offered. "End of Rant"
Overall Review: There were Questions about if these newer gen cards could run on an older processor. The answer is yes. I bought these as an experiment for a LGA775 socket and although I suffer in the performance department due to CPU bottle necking it is not the fault of the cards. Some guys said they were able to achieve decent frame rates on Fallout 4 with an overclocked LGA 775 socket set up using these cards. Depending on the board and processor I am hoping the same. Haven't finished the build completely yet. Stay tuned.
So far so good.
Pros: Had this a short time works fine. Ten year warranty is what sold me.....
Cons: None to speak of.
Awesome
Pros: Fits
Cons: Was using this as a sata 2 connector on an older board. sata 3's have a locking mechanism which does not fit sata 2 ports well and will strech the board connection doing damage.
Overall Review: Perfect for an older build.
Evercool fan
Ant online has been a trusted seller for years. I chose this fan because it matched with a liquid cooler I was buying. It had the three settings that matched a Zalman Reserator 3 Max. I was configuring a push pull system and believe it or not try looking for the included fan that Zalman will sell you LOL! Not to mention the 5 egg rating this very conservative looking fan got. Thanks Antonline I can always count on you!
Quick Delivery
Well, This is a Christmas gift and hasn't been unpackaged yet But I was very pleased to find this particular unit with the hardware I was looking for. The competitor Kitten directly had raised their price by 300.00 on a lesser model once their stock ran out.I thought that was pretty poopy of them to do that. Thanks Antonline. I'll get back to you once we fire this baby up.
