Ratio 2:1 10 Meter 3mm Dia Heat Shrinkable Tube Shrinking Tubing Clear
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: It does shrink about 2 to 1

Cons: The tubing was shipped as illustrated - folded and crumpled, rather than spooled. I wound up cutting the crumpled parts off, yielding about 2/3 of the original length as uncrumpled pieces 3" to 5" long.

Other Thoughts: I won't buy this again.

4 out of 5 eggs Good, except... 07/23/2010

This review is from: VIZO ARS-250 Stainless & Plastic 2.5" SATA SATA Dual Drive Rack

Pros: Only product like it on the market (so far). Used it to add two 2.5" drives in a fixed 3.5" slot on a server.

Cons: the two slots are different heights. If the drives are too thin, the drive is not ejected when the front lever is opened because the plastic ejection arm goes over the drive instead of hitting the back of the drive.

Other Thoughts: A 12.5 mm height drive ejected fine from the top slot, but wouldn't on the bottom slot. I had to attach a shim to the top of the drive so it would eject from the bottom slot.

2 out of 5 eggs Not universal 03/26/2009

This review is from: OKGEAR GC20ATA 20" SATA Power Cable

Pros: Works for desktop PC's

Cons: Tried using it in a server, where the drives are in a drive tray. The drive tray was 1/2" longer than the drive, so the power connector needed to sit flush with the bottom of the drive. Because the cable connector was short, the power wires interfered and didn't clear the bottom of the drive tray. That caused the whole power cable connector to bend up, and the server wouldn't boot. Everything is OK if the drive is hanging in the air, the way it would in a desktop PC, but not if the drive is sitting flush on a tray.
