Pros: The HDD works great and is fast for a USB drive. I use it as my backup drive instead of burning DVDs. It feels very reliable and secure. The youtube videos of different folks trying to destroy this drive and NOT succeeding gives me great peace of mind.

Cons: None. Its not even as heavy as it appears.

Pros: Got everything working with 4 inputs local and remotely pretty easy.

Cons: I have only 1 HD component video out from my Dish DVR so I connected it passing-through the Sling HD Connect to my TV. My colors on my TV all wash out - looks like i took my TV picture through some bleach. The problem is NOT my component cables - I have tested both sets of cables by connecting them directly from my DVR to my TV and they work perfectly. The problem only occurs when I connect and pass-through the Sling HD Connect. I tried adjusting colors on my TV but with no luck. I called Sling to complain - they finally sent me a new HD Connect but that one too has the same problem. I can't seem to find anyone else complaining about it in the forums or anywhere. This is ridiculous. I could have saved $100 bucks if I knew this was the case (i.e. I would've got a cheaper Slingbox version).

Its clear enough to hear but has a distorted background which is annoying.
