Further to my original review
Pros: Great performing card that runs nice and cool!
Cons: Bios Update on Asus website does not work for me, had to download bios update from third party website and use nvflash software to update it
Overall Review: On my previous review I stated I was getting bad WOW performance with this card after upgrading from GTX580, I finally fixed it after updating the cards BIOS and reinstalling WOW, not sure which fixed the issue, I am probably going with the WOW reinstall.
Pros: Loud and nice sounding whilst they worked
Cons: Almost immediately volume started adjusting by itself, getting quieter and quieter until almost inaudible, then they would go loud for a bit, then quiet again. Could never get them to work right.
Overall Review: My LED's started going out on my Corsair K95 keyboard within a year of ownership, now my Corsair speakers are DOA. I am starting to seriously question Corsair's quality control.
An absolute steal!
Pros: I keep writing reviews for this kit but I actually think it deserves it! With minimum effort on my X79 Sabertooth I now have 16gb @ 2400mhz 11/11/11/28/1 @ 1.51v! (VCSSA 1.1V, VTT 1.1V) I am sure with some more playing around I could get faster! All that for $80! There are few absolute steals out there but this is one of them!
Cons: None whatsoever
Overall Review: Obviously there are factors governing overclocking success, chipset, quality of memory controller but honestly this module has been the easiest/friendliest most fun memory I have ever had the pleasure to overclock! Forget the pretty looking 'center fold' memory modules, buy these little beauties! I dont often go out of my way to praise purchases but Samsung have come out with a right little gem here.
Correction to reviewer N/A
Pros: A reviewer here mentions due to the shape of the Cougar fan it would not fit using standard heatsink clips. Well, I am using these Cougars on a Prolimatech heatsink using what I believe are standard heat sink clips and have had absolutely no problem whatsoever. The cougar fan casing may be rounded but the mounting holes, overall size is completely standard. In fact all my 9 fans mounted perfectly all over my casing, not sure why user N/A was having so much difficulty.
Cons: None, fans are fantastic
Pros: Easy to use, good build quality and excepts 3TB internal drives
Cons: None that I can think of
Overall Review: Trouble getting external to be recognized through F8 - Repair System when attached to USB 3.0 port, but I think this is because the USB 3.0 port drivers are not loaded when using F8 Repair, which is a pain but not the fault of the external unit.
