Is this Triple slot similar to the 680 DCU2? or Standard Dual slot. Also, I m considering going 680 SLI... Is this option better?

The asus gtx 780 direct cu II is a dual slot card only. The days of the triple slot are gone. The 780 is a significantly more powerful card with a new and stronger processor thats similar to the titans, as well as a 384 bit bus for the 3gb memory. I have had sli 680's and this card was more than enough to perform exactly the same at 1080p, everything maxed as high as it could go, and would only reach 45 degrees Celsius. The 780 is intended for high resolution such as 1440p which I play on and still have yet to see the limit of this card. My advice is that you get a asus gtx direct CU II 780 as well as a 1440p monitor. Asus has one that goea for roughly $550 on newegg that I also own and am incredibly happy with.

Question 2

Will Newegg be carrying the non-OC version of this card? There is one listed on the ASUS website and i prefer not to buy OC cards because they draw less power and run cooler. Might last longer too. My decision is down to this card or the MSI gaming, but this one has more power phases.

This card is far better than any other GTX 780. Main reason is Asus made a custom PBC (the board) just for this card. If you are not going water and just going to Air cool it as is. This is the best and runs about 10c lower than any other card. Yes the MSI one is good but it still uses the same PBC as the reference cards... Asus uses custom caps and voltage regulators..

You can not get a better GTX 780..

Does this Graphics Card have ASUS GPU Tweak?

Yeah the software that comes with it or the latest version on their website but ill warn you gpu tweak has has some problems the last time I used it so do a restore point before installing. Good luck hope this helps

IS this the almost the same as two gtx 780 ti?

The gtx 780 ti is overall better and faster for gaming, the 780 is quiter but also the 780 is about 100$ less than the ti and the 780 ti isn't that much better that's actually why I got the 780 over the 780 ti, but two 780 ti would be better than any single card out today

30% Cooling Advertised... 20% Cooling Printed on the Box... Where is the typo ??? Ia it a marketing scheme or just the images from r9 280x ???

I have no Ideal sorry did not look at the cooling thing, it is a great card I had to send the first on back thought it was bad DOA, got the second one did the samething found out it was the power supply, it is a great card I just order two more for my other computers.  it seems to run just fine and cool no problems

Does this card have the ability to plug into a motherboard's integrated sound?  I have 50' HDMI/Display Port cables running from this card to my basement TV and Living Room TV.  I also currently have 50' Audio Y-cables running to these locations for the sound.  Any way to hook the card up to the mobo so the sound comes out the HDMI / Display port adapters?

Go to your Nvidia control panel
under display select Digital Audio
#2 Open Windows sound settings..a list of sound devices will appear
Click on the one for our TV
at the bottom of the list, set this TV device as default.
Now the sound will come through the HDMI cable to your TV..make sure your TV speakers are on

So, yes, this video card will send out the sound through your HDMI cable

What game client does the Nvidia game bundle use?

There is no real game client in strict terms.  Nvidia now has "Geforce Experience."  That is a client that will detect and updates geforce drivers as well as detect and optimize your installed games for your specific system.  Also Asus makes software that comes with this that can overclock and etc your asus cards.  I personally dont use it becuase the gtx 780 is powerful enough for what I need.

I personally use this for a single card machine with i-4770k haswell and 16gb memory. If your specs are similar than I can definitely tell you that I am not dissapointed in the product form any angle. I paid about 750 for this and it has dropped in price to about 520 so this website says. It plays every game with minimal effort on max settings and that is just ONE card. Seeing as you are going x2 or x3 then at this price you are getting 3 mini-titans. I thought about waiting for the next line of cards to come out but the Ti series are usually a set down. I feel like based on the price i paid and the price it is at the moment - now is the time to buy.

It overclocked easily, the tuner software that comes with it is extremely simplistic, it makes almost zero noise in my opinion.

It slices through Batman: Arkham Origins with everything at max.

Its not the best card out there, but its a fantastic card. Doesnt have a lot of the issues that multi-gpu cards such as the ATI 7990 and its drivers are consistently updated for the best performance.

ok i have a i5 4690, 16gb ram, 2 hardrives, 3 case fans and all the other usual stuff, i have a evga supernova 650 watt gold full modular g psu, can i handle this card safely, no issues or shutdowns?

The Newegg website has its own power supply calculator, and there is  eXtreme Power Supply Calulator lite (google it);  they are very helpful.

Depends on "all the other stuff."  At first glace I would get a bigger GOOD QUALITY psu (at least 750 watts). My corsair 750w runs my i7 920. 16 gig ram, 2 hds, 1 optical 5 case fans, and a GTX 970 no problem.

Also, it depends on what you use your rig for: check out reviews of the 780 (eg tomshardware) to see power consumption at peak load.
