Overall Review: Another reviewer (either on this one or one of the other builds) mentioned that you couldn't use the left click and push a button at the same time. This is a Windows 8 setting that can be adjusted by opening up the charm bar -> Change PC Settings (on the bottom) -> PC and Devices -> Mouse and Touchpad, then change the "Touchpad" setting to "No delay (always on)." Others recommend doing a clean install of Windows and you can do this if you want, but it's not necessary. There's very little bloatware on the laptop. Actually, other than a trial of Office and a subscription to McAfee (at least I think there might be a trial, I don't know, I removed it right away), the rest of the included software is either Asus software or other drivers. I recommend running the display calibration software in Windows. The display that mine came with was very bright with too much blue in the display that made the picture look washed out. I'm not sure if NewEgg allows updating of reviews, but if they do, I'll be sure to come back and update should anything come up.

Pros: Does a great job of controlling the fans, very clean and simple appearance and installation was easy.

Cons: The knobs are a little loose and wobble some. They do feel as though they might eventually fall off or break.

Overall Review: Overall it's not a bad product. Probably more reliable than the touch screen fan controller I had and used, which is now just a backup. Does it job controlling my many fans.

Cons: Tight space, front covers are a little flimsy.

Overall Review: You would expect a small case to have tight spaces, so it's not really a con. The case did its job and is working quite well. I used it in a build for my parents and they like the size of it. I finally got them away from using laptops as desktop computers. The stock cooler for an Intel APU might not fit, I didn't really try though. I used the Noctua NH-L9I and it fit with a little bit of clearance.

Cons: LCD screen is tilt adjustable but might be a little loose and will eventually tilt back away from you.

Overall Review: Overall the keyboard has a nice feel and is comparable to the other G-series keyboards. I don't find I use the video streaming capabilities of the LCD screen as I have multiple monitors, but if someone wanted to watch a movie while playing a game (which I do often), it would be pretty handy. Instead I use it to display in-game stats.

Pros: Fast and efficient, secure, better multi-monitor support.

Overall Review: Yes, Windows 8 is different than Windows 7. That's not a reason to discredit the system completely. You would think as tech knowledgeable people (or as claimed) would be able to adapt to change. The Metro/Modern UI is different and yes it has replaced the traditional start menu. There are third party apps which will bring back your precious start menu and disable the Charm Bars. Windows 8 starts quicker and runs quicker (for me). It is also a lot better for multi-monitor support. By default it supports separate task bars on each display.

Overall Review: Something like thermal compound is very difficult to review without comparing it to other products. I have used some other leading compounds, but not on the same system with the same cooling. I used this compound on both my graphics cards, northbridge, and CPU with plenty to spare (and I had to reapply it to my NB a second time).
