It's small!

Pros: It's a small unit!
Cons: None at this time since I have not used it yet.
Overall Review: I am writing to clarify that the antenna connector is male and works with the TP-LINK TL-ANT2408CL 2.4GHz 8dBi Indoor Omni-directional Antenna (Item#: N82E16833997226). I had a heck of a time trying to verify this antenna had the right connector for this router/repeater. Also note that the antenna's connector is female and not male as stated in its specs.
Junk

Pros: Worked for an hour or so close to my router.
Cons: Stupid piece of junk appears to now be bricked. It lights up (shows the boot process) but gives no wireless indicators, no SSID is broadcast, and doing a factory default (press & hold in reset for over 8 secs while on) does nothing. It worked ok when I first set it up near my router. Had some trouble and had to start over, but it went ok (can't imagine someone not technical getting it up and running though). Updated firmware right from the start. Set static IP and set it to "Universal Mode" repeating my routers same SSID. Let it sit awhile and then unplugged it to move it to it's intended location (outside under a pavilion roof where I have an older repeater). Unplugged old repeater, mounted this new one, plugged it in - issue started which I stated above - no wireless signal at all. I assumed I was out of range at first, but even after bringing it back near my router in the house again it won't connect. And not being able to Factory Default it has really done me over! Rebooting my router did nothing as well.
Overall Review: You people giving good reviews must have just gotten lucky! My old repeater may be weak, but at least it works all the time without incident!
Update to Previous Review

Pros: This is an update to my 5/29/2014 review. Unit does now work fairly well compared to my old Encore unit. Range is better and I don't seem to drop signal as easily. The status page is showing a stronger link with my router than the old Encore did. I did NOT test throughput at all as all I was concerned about required minimum throughput anyway. (This unit is being used to extend wireless coverage all over my backyard.)
Cons: This unit was an absolute headache for me to setup. I do not use (nor can I use) WPS, so I can't speak to it's use. I was doing manual setup from it's web interface. Updated to latest firmware. EVERYTIME I tried setting a static IP and/or turning off the unit's DHCP setting it locked up. I had thought it was bricked but found out you just need to be really quick to press & hold that reset button as soon as the power light flashes after plugging in (press & hold about 8 seconds until all lights flash). I had to factory default this thing SO many times that the white plastic reset button broke (I now have to press the actual microswitch inside). I finally just left the unit with it's default settings, reserved the IP address it received in my wireless router's config, and only changed the login password. So far it's working fine. This has been 4 days now. By the way, the default DHCP setting is "Auto" which showed up as "Off" on my status page.
Overall Review: I don't mind having some complications and trouble to get a better working unit for little money, but this unit was too much trouble! I can only recommend it for people with the knowledge and patience to be able to deal with its issues and who are satisfied leaving it at its default settings.
Not Impressed in Repeater Use

Pros: Build quality seems pretty good for it's price. Setup was easy and menu system is easy to navigate.
Cons: I am using this as a repeater along with my Netgear WGR614 router. I have the repeater outside under a pavilion roof (also tried inside a shed) with it's antenna clearly in view to the house wall where the router is and in clear view of my desired coverage area. The repeaters coverage is not very good. There's no way it would cover 300m outdoors! I get very good coverage within about a 75 foot radius with line of sight to the antenna. At about 150 feet I'm on the verge of dropping the signal. This was testing with an iPhone 4. Testing with an HP Laptop gave me better reception and reasonable range, but it's intended use is for my iPhone. I expected full signal strength all around my 1 acre property, especially with it being out in the wide open and not behind any walls. Firmware is the latest and I've tested different angles of the antenna. I've also tested with an add-on 8dBi antenna which made very little difference.
Overall Review: The connector is female on this antenna.
Little Difference Over Stock Antenna

Pros: It works. Good quality.
Cons: I see very little difference between this antenna and the stock antenna on my ENCORE ENHWI-3GN3 Wireless N150 Router / Repeater which I am using outdoors (under cover) as a repeater. It does make a difference in signal strength, but very little. I am not impressed with the repeater, so perhaps that is where most of the problem is.
Almost there, Disappointed

Pros: Case itself has a nice sleek look and feel to it. Looks good. The outer rubber cover seems durable and keeps the phone from sliding around.
Cons: Quality is just too cheap. There is a plastic case under the rubber "skin" which doesn't seem durable. The phone is difficult to slide in and out of the holster and rolls the rubber "skin" off as you slide it in. The holster is the worst part though. The holster's clip uses cheap plastic. One week after owning I caught the clip on the seat belt of my car getting out and it ripped the clip off sending my phone to the ground. Apparently I have lost a spring under the clip too. I had to rig up a spring (horribly difficult to get it in there) and now it doesn't have enough tension on it to clip it tightly anywhere. Oh, and not that I care about it, but the "kickstand" feature doesn't work. I'm speaking of the way you push the clip all the way open and it "clicks" in an open position to act like a kickstand to support your phone standing up (well, slightly tilted back). The phone will just fall over.
Overall Review: Disappointed, because I thought this one would be more rugged than my old iPhone's case. My old case lasted me 2 years; perhaps I just need to go back that style.
