good purchase
Pros: with intel 6850; mobo posted 1st attempt. flashed bios with v13 immediately; 1333 FSB works as expected. 4GB 800mhz 2.2v memory working as expected. running win XP 64bit. 650Watt psu and single graphic processor.
Cons: none
Overall Review: mobo has 8 pin power connector instead of traditional 4 pin connector. except for temporary 3.5 floppy config, all drives are USB (no IDE necessary for hdd / dvd - 6-SATA connectors) also, i disabled the excessive LED mobo light show in the bios.
1 good; 1 bad
Pros: bought 2 monitors. 1 montior has no flaws. office applications and video games look great. video files and dvds not as good as other monitors i own, but sufficient.
Cons: 1 monitor has 2 stuck pixels. 1 yellow, 1 red. pixels are exactly next to eachother where the stuck red pixel appears as a shadow for the stuck yellow pixel making the 2 stuck pixels look like one 3D stuck pixel in the middle off the screen?
Overall Review: i tried differrent flashing type fixes, trying rubbing them out, and tried the focus'd poking with a pen and cloth. pixel still stuck.
Great NVIDIA Chipset
Pros: I have seven 9800GT and four 7950GT by a different manufacture. Only other video card running in my gaming lab was a fanless XFX 7600GT. Since I could no longer find the 9800GT's i prefered, and because I never had an issue with my XFX 7600GT, i gave this model a go. The stock VGA cooler that came with this model made more noise than anything currently running in my lab. I immediately replaced the stock fan with a ZALMAN VF900 – CU 2 Ball VGA Cooler. Video card now runs great! Great value for the price including the after market Zalman addon.
Cons: It came with a undesirable VGA cooler. Not overclocked.
Overall Review: Nice to have a video card with HDMI
i have bought 2, i own both TJ10-S & TJ10-B (and, a TJ03-B)
Pros: The front door on the TJ10-S was not magnetic, and the door uses gravity and/or design to stay closed. I approve of both door designs; I like the TJ10-B front door better. everything i reviewed positive for TJ10-S (build6) applys for the TJ10-B as well.
Cons: none. I only gave the TJ10-S 4 stars. assembly quality for the TJ10-B was noticably evident.
Overall Review: the black paint is worth any extra dollars. ESD (electro static d-somethin') is significantly less. i don't get zapped pressing the i/o switch for TJ10-B. i always touch a top corner of the TJ10-S case - receive my static shock - then press i/o switch.
will purchase more
Pros: plenty of space. great airflow. psu at the bottom is convenient. front peripherals worked no issues. case looks great. i plan on buying a black tj10 next.
Cons: hdd slot layout is different. i have 2 hdd installed no issues. but, if i put 6 hdd in all 6 hdd slots, the wiring would end up less then optimal. 4 or less hdd would be best. And, the metal fan grate on top of case rattles, had to add some small rubber pieces to pevent vibration.
Overall Review: the rear exhaust fan would only spin 2/3 of the time. after replacing rear 120mm fan and disliking the replacement noise, i revisited the original fan and noticed 1 of the 2 stickers was extremely off-center. i removed said sticker, and original fan has spun 10 of 10 times? i expect i'll order another replacement fan just in case.
good purchase
Pros: solid metal. plenty of room. all connections working as expected.
Cons: price. (yet, i'd make this purchase again)
