Pros: EVGA has been my manufacturer of choice for many years and this card does not disappoint. Was a noticeable upgrade from my GTX 650Ti. The ACX Cooler is a nice addition and runs quiet and well, cool ;-) Just keep in mind the size of this card and make sure it will fit your case. I have a large Cooler Master HAF so it is no problem. Also, pay attention to the power requirements. I had an eight and six plug free so it was not a problem either, but perhaps your power supply does not. As with most things, the details matter ;-)

Overall Review: EVGA does a great job with their Video cards. The packaging is always first rate and New Egg does their part in getting my purchases to me quickly. This is a pretty capable mid-range card that will keep you gaming for quite some time. All I had to do was plug it in, Windows got the drivers and I was back in business in short order.

Pros: A great looking board, well packaged and you will love the new BIOS interface :-)

Cons: With all the positive reviews and my past experience with ASUS, I did not hesitate to order this for my new rig. But as with all us tech buyers, sooner or later we get a piece that will not work. And this was a strange one. Had the new PC all assembled, everything seemed to be AOK, but when trying to load Win7, the PC would go into an endless reboot cycle. I searched for solutions, tried different drives, even tried my previous copy of Vista, but the same reboot process. Took it to a PC repair shop and they tested all my equipment and found nothing wrong with the drives, Ram, etc. They even tried their drives and own copies of OS, but it still would not complete the load and just kept rebooting. Something on the board was causing this and with heavy heart I had to RMA it. :-(

Overall Review: The RMA process at Newegg could not be easier. They have shipped my replacement on the same day the returned MB was received and I am awaiting its arrival. I will post a review of the new board once I get the system up and running. Do not let this experience sway you from the ASUS brand. No, I am not a fan boy of the company, but keep in mind that every company has a few "bad ones" slip through. Overall ASUS has a great record and I will continue to use them despite this minor setback.

Pros: Was the perfect monitor! Bright rich colors. Text and graphics were tremendous. Games played like I have never seen! No dead pixels...in short I won the panel lottery! :-) Was instantly recognized - only had to turn down the brightness a bit. My games looked fantastic and routine things like web browsing and MS Word were extremely crisp and easier to read. I was very happy with the purchase!

Cons: Then the bad...Next day, turned it on, booted up AOK. Did a few things with no problems and then BAM...blank screen with the message "No Signal." Switched out the DP cable for the HDMI...still no signal. Thought great, my video card died? But hooked up my previous monitor and it works perfectly. Tried the ViewSonic again with both types of cables...same results. :-( It appears that something inside the unit decided it had enough fun and games. This is so disappointing. My wonderful Christmas present to myself (which arrived in 24hours after I ordered it) has to now be stuffed back inside its box and returned. This was my first ViewSonic product. I know things break and fail, especially electronic items, but ViewSonic, only 24 hours?

Pros: An update to my previous review... Have had the card for a week now it is incredible. No Coil Whine as others reported. Delivers super performance and I am totally happy. .

Cons: What I now see is that the backplate is being offered for free not so long after I bought it. While I applaud EVGA and/or New Egg for giving people this excellent perk, I cannot help but feel I bought mine too soon.

Overall Review: For those thinking about buying this card...DO IT while the backplate is free! You will not regret it :-)

Pros: Many folks complain that for the money the video card costs, the backplate should already be included. I do not disagree with that thought. However, with the rebate from the card and the sale price for the backplate, it works out to basically free. The plate went on with no problems, but be sure to have a small/micro sized Phillips head driver to work the screws.

Overall Review: It makes the card look even better and helps reduce the temperature - a win/win !
