Nice desktop printer
Pros: Easy to use. Onboard samples to print while checking the thingverse for interesting goddies. Insane easy unboxing and setup. Had first print running in under 5 min.
Cons: Took a few tries to get the filament fed properly; had to manually feed it with some pressure until the 'Load Filament' task completed. I knew it was loaded properly when I could feel the feed motor tugging the plastic and a little filament was extruded.
Overall Review: I woulda got the dual if it was in stock :(
Great Printer - Everything else about it SUCKS!
Pros: Easy to use and good looking unit. When it works (or rather, when the SOFTWARE works), it works very well. But, therein lies the rub - You cannot use it without the insanely buggy and slow proprietary software.
Cons: The proprietary software performs like a stoned High Shooler's beginning programming project. 15-20 min range on brand new 8 core system. Seriously! Brand new cartridges are not recognized, or are declared COUNTERFEIT and rejected by the XYZ Print software. Out of my 6 cartridges *3* of them are afflicted. Cannot fix, cannot return, cannot refill. If you think you are getting a deal on this printer, think again!
Overall Review: There was such potential here, if only XYZ would pull their heads out from their collective nethers. Give this company another 5 years to get the stuff together and they'll corner the market - too bad they won't last that long.
GARBAGE!
Pros: CHEAP!
Cons: Still GARBAGE! getting about 50% hit/miss with these cartridges. Printer sees them as empty or counterfeit. Will NEVER purchase another XYZ product! EVER!
Gaming Laptop (lacks gaming KeyBoard!)
Pros: Fast, easy, purdy
Cons: Keyboard is NOT conducive to successful FPS pwnage
I Love These!
Pros: Fairly lightweight, flicker free for the most part. Battery holding strong after nearly a year of heavy gaming and movie use. Stylish on yer face.
Cons: they will flicker when battery gets low, or if there is a resolution mismatch between the glasses. Easy fix tho, just validate that all of your resolution and refresh rate settings are consistent between os/driver, 3D vision settings, and application/game - 100 or 120hz for ex. Comes with a number of sizes of rubber nose-grip-thingies. Hang onto those. The one I chose (Medium I guess) is curling and no longer stays on the mount posts - time for the epoxy.
Overall Review: Not the fully immersive heads up display, or neural implants, but coupled with a 21" 3D monitor and it's a great entry-level 3D gaming adjunct.
Great gear
Pros: Fast and easy to deploy.
Cons: none
