inexpensive KVM for a DVI monitor

Pros: Works fine switching a DVI monitor (up to and including 1900x1200 resolution) between two computers. Switches audio mic and speaker cables too, if you have them. Sometimes, I put a Logitech Unifying wireless mouse dongle on the usb mouse port on the KVM and it works fine One 3-foot and one 5-foot DVI monitor cable are permanently attached to the KVM switch. Having the longer 5-foot cable helps out for locating the 2nd computer. The hard-wired switch button is on a 4.5 foot wire. The KVM base unit has lights that tell you which of the two computers is connected
Cons: At this price, I can't think of any cons.
Overall Review: A few years ago, I bought the same switch and it had problems. I got a replacement under the mfg warranty which worked fine. I recently bought a 2nd switch for another application, and it works fine too. You can use keystrokes to switch between computers, but I can't speak about this because I always use the hardwired switch. Watch the price on newegg, sometimes it goes down.
mediocre results

Pros: Unique adapter provides a 12.75 inch extension to a female DVI connector. You also get a female HDMI connector in parallel. DVI results are good.
Cons: HDMI results are inconsistent (see details below), I had to return one of my two adapters because of this.
Overall Review: I purchased two units of the BTA-031 DVI to DVI/HDMI adapter. I attached the unit to the female DVI connector on the monitor. Both units worked fine with a 6-foot DVI cable to a 1920 x 1200 monitor. Neither unit worked at all with a 6-foot HDMI cable to the 1920 x 1200 monitor. Neither unit worked at all with a 15-foot HDMI cable to a 1680 x 1050 monitor. One unit worked fine with a 6-foot HDMI cable to the 1680 x 1050 monitor. The other unit produced red lines on the 1680 x 1050 monitor with the 6-foot HDMI cable. I am returning this second unit.
beautiful headphones, poor sound quality and false advertising

Pros: Beautiful headphones and quality construction, except as noted below. Detachable cable is a nice feature for stowage while traveling. You get a spare cable as noted below. The earcups swivel so that the headphones fold flat for storage.
Cons: Earpads are plain foam, not memory foam as advertised. Sound quality is poor, like a pair of cheap headphones. It sounds like you are listening through a blanket. There is no high end and little bass. It has mid-range response only. On-cord volume control only works with smartphones, not with laptops - though you still get sound, you can't control the volume. You do get a spare plain cable without volume control.
Overall Review: I wanted to like this headphone, I really did. It is one of the nicest headphones that I have ever seen. Unfortunately, it just sounds bad with just about any style of music.
buy this cable

Pros: I like to promote less-popular newegg items that I like. This is not a thin cable, but it is thinner and more flexible than any other hdmi to dvi cable that I have used. The hdmi plug is short, just like in the photo, so it doesn't stick out from your laptop as much, so it is less likely to get in the way of your mouse or whatever you place on the side of your laptop. No built-in ferrite cores, but you don't need the ferrites because a 1920x1200 pixel display is sharp and not noisy.
Cons: No cons, but I only give 5 stars for a truly exceptional user experience.
Item as described, arrived on time.
The 500 GB Samsung 850 EVO SSD was new-in-box. It was a genuine product - recognized by the optional Samsung Magician software. A DVD for Samsung Magician and utilities was included. The software and utilities is also available as a free download. The SSD came in a thinly-padded envelope, which, fortunately, arrived undamaged. When Newegg ships a hard drive or SSD, they always ship it in a box. I did not have to contact customer service, so I can't rate the service.
good seller
Item as described, quick shipping, no complaints. This is a genuine HP product. The product is a standard size DisplayPort plug with a female DVI "Single Link" connector on the other end of a short cable. This is so you can hookup a DVI monitor cable to your laptop which has a DisplayPort socket. I don't see why you couldn't plug the DisplayPort plug into a DisplayPort monitor so you could make a hookup with a DVI cable in that way. "Single Link" is pretty standard for DVI. This is not "Dual-Link", which allows a higher bandwidth connection (more pixels on the screen).
MD-3107G-U3BDRW slim USB 3.0 Blu-ray Writer
The product was adequately described on the newegg website. The shipping time was reasonable and not delayed. The item arrived with no damage at all. I would buy from Archgon again. As for the product itself, the aluminum case gives it a nice appearance, but makes it feel slightly heavy. The product works with USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports. It would not work with one of my USB 2.0 ports and probably needed the aux power connector, but the aux power connector wouldn't reach to the other side of my laptop. Most of the time, you probably only need the primary USB connector and not the aux power connector. Slot-loading disks is convenient and there is no disk tray to get in the way. It appears that you cannot disassemble this product for troubleshooting. I believe that you need the included Cyberlink software to view Blu-ray movie DVDs in Windows 7 and 8. I did not try Win XP. The Cyberlink software is an older version and works fine.
