nice 4 hot swap bays
Pros: better than qnap
Cons: just a tight little box, gotta beat the hell out of the sides
Overall Review: why spend 1500.00 + tax for a proprietary build with security issues when freenas is all that is needed
pretty awful
Pros: none
Cons: al it does is click and i cannot bring it up on the drive scheduale when the driver is installed
Overall Review: this was a brand new drive not a refurb
packs a punch
Pros: ROG certified, a decent rad, Just enough room for Z270 Maximus Extreme Mono Block, and 2-1080 TI OC ( using EK blocks for the cards ) Has a cover for a 1300 watt power supply that is SLI certified
Cons: takes a long time to get here from New Jersey
Overall Review: keeping it ROG
ITS OK
Pros: We use the Thunderbolt for the 2-28-inch 4K UHD monitors at 60 2- M.2 Samsung 950 NVME 500 gig mirrored with NAS water cooling loop for CPU only, easily maintain 5 gig on low voltage if it wasn't for the M.2, we would not have upgraded from the z77 chipset, we used this occasion to eliminate all sata drives and keep with NVME storage exclusively
Cons: PRICE
Overall Review: its an alright board compared to what is out there
why change from a i7 3770k
Pros: a couple more instructions per cycle never hurts
Cons: does the same as the i7 3770k anmd a little more/ THATS IT. no cooler
Overall Review: I bought a p8z77-v premium and put a i7 3770 k on it and never looked back, that was 4 yr ago now and the 3770k and z77- v premium motherboard have never let me down once. Its the inclusion tof m.2 spec and the fact that I need a file server which has brought me to newegg once again, no qnap or any other proprietary mobo for my server so I will use freenas of course but the components all together cost just as much as a qnap 471 which has 4k stream and thats all i needed besides the file serving capabilities
what an awsome little 4k streaming nas with 20 terabyte of realestate, and yes I put a 6700k in it LOL
Pros: I dont have time to write them all down
Cons: for what its going to be doing, none
Overall Review: was looking at the qnap ts, tvs 470 or 471 and decided due to security that we will use a none proprietary mobo later will be replacing the 6700k with a i3 somthing or other and put 6700k on z170 premium, yahoo
