This is a new battery. It worked as when we first bought the phone. Remember to charge it fully and let discharge all the way and recharge 3 times to set the pattern for longest life.

No, A S3 battery will fit in a S4 but will be a little small. A S4 battery will not fit in a S3. Neither will fit in a S5

It's really impossible to tell with these batteries. It looks genuine, but it isn't lasting any longer than the original battery which was a year old. But it works and it was cheap.

I need battery for my Galaxy s3 for my verizon phone...I trust this battery will fit all S3's, right? I see folks online advertising for ATT and Sprint phones, so wondering if there is a difference, which I doubt.

This one I bought fits my Samsung S3, so that is all I can vouch for. Some numbers might not match up with the original,  but might still work.

I don't know. I replaced a EB-L1G6LLZ. Also, the new battery is not lasting any longer than the old one. It is either used, or the year-old original battery still has all of its capacity.

I purchased this battery from NewEgg a few weeks ago for my Galaxy SIII. The phone works fine. However, the battery life appears to be slightly shorter than the original battery when I purchased the phone. It doesn't last a whole day unless I am very careful about managing the power usage (i.e. turning off wi-fi when not using it, keeping power saving mode on.)  I don't know if this is a defect in the particular unit I purchased or with this model in general.

The only difference i can see is the cells of the original battery are made in Korea, while this one's cells are made in Japan. Everything else seems legit.
