what size is the speaker (driver)? most all other Home Subs have this specified.

It's 9.84 inches. Typically this spec is in the model number. For example, l would expect a CS9 is a nine inch. Personnally I think 12 inch is the sweet spot like the Klipsch R12 which I am very please with.
