Pros: Easy build, nice layout. I am an old guy without a ton of experience but this board was really easy to work with, made me star. All 3 worked perfectly out of the box. Used 32 GB 3600 Gskill, 500 GB Samsung 970, 1 TB SSD. Seems very fast and responsive. Bios and online bios update is really nice. Oldest one is over a year old, absolutely no issues at all---well one issue which I'll outline in ''cons''. Not sure if it's boards fault or mine, but most likely mine.
Cons: For some reason I can't get it to recognize any boot drive other than the Nvme drive. It won't let me switch to a SATA drive for boot. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Other Thoughts: Excellent product, great performance, easy to work with, good manual and online info. Would buy again or its successor. Totally impressed.
Pros:
Easy to Navigate BIOS
Easy to Overclock!
No Unnecessary Futures!
Cons:
My Orange TUF LED is Not Static! Keeps Glowing On and Off...
Little Annoying But Not a Big Deal.
No Other Cons So Far...
Pros:
nothing much to say , was a very average board when it worked.
Just stay away from this , may be go for Prime series. Don't fall for military grade blah blah .. it really sucks real time trust me .
i got older asus boards which still works but the newer ones are not up to the quality when its below $200
Cons:
I wish there is broken egg emoji for rating instead of giving one ..
unstable when you overclock your cpu .
worked only for few months .Not really TUF board as its advertised.

Other Thoughts:
Bought this motherboard march 2018 and it lasted only few months before it failed all of sudden.Got a replacement from Asus which was a refurbished one ( was with lot of scratches on the plastic I/O cover) but i did not mind , was in a hurry to get my PC running and installed it . Was running for few days and problems started when doing heavy work load , crashes many times . Replaced all other components in my PC to check its the board that was giving trouble. Requested another RMA within few weeks and it was a disappointment got an email stating it was damaged and i need to pay for the whole cost of the board
. To my surprise the picture attached was showing a micro very small scratch near the sound card and mentioned this was the cause of the board failing . I really don't remember those scratches my bad should have taken as many pictures i can to prove it was not my mistake . Escalated this issue and its been more than a week and the agents i speak with say its under review and yet to decide about the concern . Seriously it was very clear that micro scratch is not the cause of the failing . They have sent me a defective board in first place and don;t want to deal with this .
Pros: This board should not even exist
Cons:
Trash 4 phases VRM, if runs 8700K temp could easily be over 100 and it is ridiculous.
If this is H310 that's acceptable but come on this is Z370, which supposed to be come with i5/i7
DO NOT buy so any products from this so called "TUF Gaming" series, this board has nothing to do with "TUF" or "Gaming".
Other Thoughts: Looks like ASUS feel good as there are always someone buying something totally trash as they are produced by ASUS.
Pros: MY first computer build and the Mobo posted first time with no problems hence. Non k 8700 with xmp enabled at 2666. It's been 3 months
Cons: No cons .
Other Thoughts: I'd recommend based on my own experience, but then again, I'm not overclocking a k processor.
Pros: 5 year warranty
Cons: I went through three motherboard. 1st motherboard had PWR led light on. it didn't show any video. 2nd motherboard had DRAM led light on. I have 2x8 gb ram. I tried 1x8gb at a time and it still didn't work. 3rd motherboard it had both issue PWR and DRAM led light on.
Other Thoughts:
My DRAM and Power supply is on QVL list.
G.SKILL TridentZ Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) Intel Z170 Platform Desktop Memory Model F4-3200C16D-16GTZKW
Pros:
Easy to install and set-up
Simple to use overclocking options
8700k stable at 4.9 under load.
Cons:
Unable to change or sync the LEDs on the board (even after installing Asus Aura)
Not as many features/options as other boards out there
Board gets hot fast. Tested under load, CPU at 36 but board is around 58
Was able to get an 8700k to 5.1 but kept getting BSOD when running stress tests. Was able to stabilize around 4.9
Other Thoughts: If you can get it for a decent price, it's a decent board.

Pros: I, like William B the previous reviewer, am an old dude PC builder. I built my first one in the early 90's. Pretty easy setup although getting BIOS setup to boot from m2 NVME drive (ultra-fast SSD) took me awhile to figure out. You have to enable Intel Optane somewhere in the settings to get it to work ... can't remember ... I think I actually had to read the manual =). I usually buy ASUS mobos and built a couple of machines back in 2012 with their TUF series that are still running today (being on 24x7), so I really trust the name but was worried about the bad reviews here for this board. Those 2 machines I spoke of were $250-ish for the motherboard, these are priced at $150, so hopefully they perform as well over the long-haul, but so far no issues and the first build was back in August 2018. Two machines were built for stock traders (6-monitor setup) with m2 NVME drives, i7-8700, and 32GB RAM. The last one I built for Christmas for my son to help get his framerate up in Fortnite, same setup as trading builds but with single GTX 1070.
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: At this point I would certainly recommend this board for other builders. Great price point, good features and works with the latest generation Intel CPUs. Good number of USB ports, would also recommend this paired with the Fractal Design Define C Case, it's a relatively small profile ATX case with great cable management.
