Will the Ryzen 7 1700x work with this motherboard?

Yes, absolutely! All Ryzen-branded Socket AM4 CPUs are fully supported by this board, including the 2 that have built-in graphics (as of 11/23/18, the Ryzen 2200G and 2400G).

Note: For the 2xxx-series processors (like the 2700X, for example) and newer, a free downloadable firmware update may be required to make it work.

Absolutely not - this board only supports Socket AM4 compatible processors (which currently includes 7th-gen Athlon CPU, 7th-gen A-Series APUs, and all Ryzen [but not Threadripper] CPUs and APUs).

Does this board support x8/x8 crossfire!?

I didn't have a problem running two 7770's in crossfire on this board. It worked around as well as crossfire usually works.

Can I run 6 video cards in this thing for mining ?

No. This has 2x 16x "sized" PCIe and 2x 1X PCIe ports. The other 2 ports are standard PCI. Also for those looking to do SLI the motherboard will give 8 lanes to each 16 lane "sized" slots. Also the way I read the manual it looks like if anything is plugged into the lower 16 lane wide "sized" slot the primary slot will fall back to 8 lanes. So I don't use my lower slot. Hope all this helps.

Does this MB have built in wifi?

No, it does not. Ifor you would like a wireless connection, you will need to buy a separate network card/wireless dongle. I would recommend newegg, and depending on how far away your access point is, they should be fairly cheap.

Is it possible to run Windows 7 on this motherboard without issues?

Ryzen isn't supported by Windows 7. That being said, yes you can still run win 7 on it but there will be issues. Windows newest updates will render the system inoperable, telling you that the processor isn't supported. But there are some workarounds if you search the web. Like myself, you'll probably end up stuck with windows 10 or you can just install linux if you just use it for web browsing email and music/video.

does this product come with a backplate for the cpu area to fit for the cooler and does it allow overclocking ?

It has a stock cpu backplate. I was able to overclock my Ryzen 7 1700X using the Cooler Master 212 EVO with the AM4 Adapter provided my Cooler Master and it works perfectly.

does this support 3200 ram speed?

Yes, but be sure to check the supported memory list on the Asus site. (It's under the Support topic for the specific motherboard you have.) Some memories are run at a lower rate (2133MHz) if their timing isn't right. There's a list of exact memory model numbers and what clock-performance they can achieve with this motherboard.

Question 9

Since the MB supports 8 channel audio, does it come with an adapter for the other 3 standard audio I/O? Looks like there is no rear or center speaker hookup (black, orange, grey).  I remember older MBs came with an adapter that plugged into an audio header which would take up an expansion slot.

It supports AC97 and HD Audio via headers on the board if you have an adapter that supports it (or case). It doesn't the analog ports for it though, only SPIDF and HDMI for 8 channel audio.
