Unless you're using a PCIE extension it couldn't interfere with your RAM, since it'll be hanging fans down in your case. The highest part of the card will be where it slots into the motherboard.

Please read your motherboard manual for PCIe slots. Check that your motherboard has PCIe x16 pin slot for this GPU to plug in. This GPU also has 2 power cables that plug into the power supply as well.

This is a higher end GPU and could cause some bottle necking with lower end CPU’s. Also research what CPU works best with what GPU you’re interested in for your specific preferences. Everyone uses PCs differently.

Question 7

Will these boosts clock work in FPS games like Overwatch?  Blizzard says their games have issues with Overclocking so curious if these cards have been tested with this game.  My STRIX 1080TI when overclocked beyond 1705 using GPU TWEAK II, these clocks will cause the game to crash hence why I ask but Fps wise it's always 150+ in Overwatch even in gaming mode.

Yes this will work with Overwatch and all other games.  The card is tested to work at the boost clocks they sell at.  If you get crashes on your 1080ti when you overclock, you're overclocking it too much.

asus aura sync causing massive amounts of stuttering in VR and causing regular game titles to crash all the time. i've tried reinstalling GPU drivers, nothing. i've reinstalled the latest aura drivers nothing. i've tried previous aura sync drivers and that didnt work either. same with some previous graphics drivers nothing changed either. as soon as i disable the lighting service in task manager it fixes everything. Are there any work arounds? is this a problem with RTX cards? cause i didnt have an of these problems with my previous RX 480 Strix card even using the same aura driver that i did with it.

Hi there,

After doing some research, this seems to be a known issue with Asus Aura Sync. However at the current time there is no work around other than shutting off the Lighting program while playing VR, then turning it back on once done. Asus and Occulus Rift are both aware of the issue.
