What does it connect thru? One Connect? Also, is it prone to overheating? Check the internet?

It has OneConnect, which just places all of the TV connections (HDMI, cable, internet, power) in a separate box that connects to the screen with 1 wire. Makes mounting on a wall a lot less messy. If you mean how does it connect to the internet, it has both wired and wireless connections. Never had or heard of any issues with overheating. Not sure what you mean by check the internet, but it does connect to virtually every web based media app and does monitor the web for firmware and other updates.
