Does one SSD fit on one side and the second SSD on the other side?

It will hold 2 x ssd on the same side, one under the tabs with screws on bottom the second on top of the tabs with screws in the side.

Is this compatible with the Rosewill Thor V2 [White] case?

It's an ATX case, so I assume so. That Thor case looks like it has HDD mounting trays that slide in and out of the case. My Antec had something similar, and not all SSD mounting kits work with all trays, but this one worked with mine.

Will this fit into a 2011 iMac?

This is just an adapter to fit a 2.5 ssd into a 3.5 hdd slot. If the mac came with a standard 3.5 harddrive, and you are trying to go down to a solid state drive, them you need this to accommodate the smaller ssd.

Is this compatible with the Rosewill Challenger case? (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811147153) The case included an adapter similar to this, but just one. I need 2 more.

It should work with any case as long as the case has normal 3.5" mounting bays for HDDs.

Will this fit the original NZXT Phantom?

These and all like 3.5 to 2.5 in. mounting kits fit in any 3.5 in drive bay in any computer just as if it were a hard drive. You mount the 2.5 in drive to the narrower rails and then mount the kit right into a 3.5 in Hard drive slot just as you would any other hard drive.

Will this mount OK in my Dell XPS 8500?

It fits any where you had a standard 3.5" desktop drive mounted  beforeallowing the 2.5" SSD to be mounted  in that space

Will this be suitable for an SSD to be mounted into a hard drive bay specifically in a Dell Vostro 260 Desktop? This desktop has rails that it needs to be attached to and then slid the rails slide into a slot, and is then fastened in place with a screw on the top.

The mounting kit allows the smaller SSD to fit where a standard HD goes so it should be no issue. Just mount the rails on the side of the mounting kit just as you would a normal HD.

Can the plastic mount take 2 12.5mm thick 2.5" drives? The metal mount shows that you cannot.

I mounted two SSD 2.5" drives with this adapter. Not sure on the thickness, but they seem to fit fine.
