Does this router have wireless capibilitys?

This isn't a router, as the description states it's a network switch and it's also not wireless. The web page gives a detailed description of this device. As a switch it's excellent however.

Question 2

1) Can I use this router with COX internet as well as with Xbox One?
2) Is it wireless?

This is NOT a router and does not have any wireless capabilities. It is a switch. You can connect your internet cable from your modem to the input of the switch and get multiple outputs to hardwire other devices. It should work fine with COX internet (I have only had it with Charter Spectrum) and I have used it in the past to hardwire my Xbox One.

If i have 5 gaming computers, will this be ideal to hook up for connection? My friends an i play and i want us to all have the same connection.

Hi Wave,

I have been in I.T. for 31 years as a software architect for the biggest banks in the world. And, I'm a nerd. I have a PLEX server in the home and I am running (3) PS/4 and (1) XBox on t his switch, along with a myriad of other media services. This is the most amazing consumer-grade "fully managed" switch I have ever seen. It is super heavy and doesn't require mounting even when filled with wires. The access is via a browser which allows you to control each individual port's performance (using QOS). This allows me to prioritize gaming traffic when I have a group of other nerds in the house (my kids, for one). This switch smoothed out my media streaming also (Plex, NetFlix, VUDU, and more). I cannot recommend this switch more. If one has extreme networking requirements such as multiple gaming consoles, this is the right choice. OTHER HINT: if you have multiple gaming consoles make sure you each "manually set" the DNS1 & DNS2 servers. If you all have a different DNS server the NAT in your ROUTER will perform better. This gets rid of LAG - especially when there is a massive dungeon with zillions of sorcerers blasting away their magic effects. Currently my PING time is about 17ms. And, I use a VPN. WOW. That's awesome.

is the nighthawk S8000 wall mountable?

as i just looked at the bottom of mine it looks like a no unless you have a bracket to hold it up, love the look of it and performs way better than my old switch

In the product description it says "UP TO 10 DEVICES: Connect more devices at gaming parties with 10 Ethernet ports", but the device only has 8 ethernet ports. Which is correct?

I'm not sure about what the description means, but the device has 8 total ports. One input, and 7 outputs. So I would say that you can only have 7 other computers/consoles connected off of one router or modem. The most I have ever used was 4.

Question 6

Does this switch by chance have Link Aggregation Support? I'd like to use two ports from my NAS box to a switch and my current switch doesn't support that.

It does support Static Manual LAGs (Port Trunking) but not LACP. Make sure your equipment supports LAG.  2 LAGs with max 4 members in each LAG.
