Trying to find a mini ITX board that uses 200 to 250 watts of power for small build. Any suggestions?

What is the "New Version upgraded to Haswell Compatible" means , it is the same case as before and in 2014, this case still don't have USB 3.0 at the Front panel what a shame !! My Qs 
1) What is the New Version different ?
2) Where is the IN WIN IW-BP655.300 Model with 300W PSU and USB 3.0 Front panel ?

in the back there are cutouts (punchouts) remove them and add your usb 3.0 plugs. front does not support usb 3.0 im using a skylake with gfx add on card and no issues. also cooler master vortex W.92 mm fan fits in this with about 2 mm to spare after the lid is back on..

Hi Zack,

We bought over a hundred of these cases for some custom desktops we built for work, and they had plenty of space in them. After checking out the low-profile cooler you are looking at, I'm confident that it will fit just fine. Good choice btw. Happy Holidays!

What kind of motherboards can or should I put in here?

Hi,

By description any Mini-ITX motherboard should fit.
I did not test all of them, although at home have
three of them: one uses Intel motherboard

"ASUS P8H61-I R2.0"

The other 2 running on AMDs

"ASRock FM2A75M-ITX R2.0".

No problems so far.

The case is nicely compact, however the regular
size CD/DVD drives fit perfectly.

Just in case if you consider to build your PC with
this case and motherboards mentioned above,
I'd recommend CPU fan

It's doing the great job on all of my 3 CPUs.

Question 6

Hi Newegg,

The dimensions of this case state that it is 3.9" wide, but the single-slot graphics card I'm ordering is 4.4".  Is the PCI-E bracket smaller than a standard bracket?  It looks like I might not be able to physically fit a nice single-slot card in this case...

This is considered a low-profile case...standard height cards will not fit internally.  If you are building a machine to support 3 monitors with a high performance graphics card, you not only need a bigger case, but a bigger power supply as well.

Will a full-size graphics card fit that single slot in the back?

you have to use a slim graphics card, but if you use an I3 - I7 intel with atleast HD4400 onboard graphics you will be fine

Is it possible to replace the built in PSU with another mini-ITX PSU of higher wattage (such as with the Athena Power AP-MFATX40 400W Mini ITX 80 PLUS BRONZE)? How big is the built in PSU anyway? Cheers!

Yes it can be replaced, I replaced mine with a Seasonic SS-300TFX 300W 80PLUS BRONZE TFX, for a little extra power. They have a newer version of this box with a 300w psu built in and usb3.0 frontend ports. Not too much more expensive either you should check that out. But yes, a TFX mini ITX PSU can be swapped out, just make sure to get one where the fan doesn't bulge out too far inside the case, else it'll hit the motherboard.

This case has a 24pin power supply, so no it will not work with that MB
