does it have Win 7 installed or 10 when you first boot. We need 7pro.?

The laptop had Win 7 pro installed (had link to upgrade to win 10), but we have not migrated to the newer system, and did not want to support two operating systems in-house. You do not have to upgrade to win 10.

Does the case have room for a second drive?

No. There is no space for a 2nd drive.

is the 16gb in one, two, or four sticks?

The P70 has 4 memory slots that each hold a "stick" of memory. The largest stick of memory for this machine is 16 GB. (4x16=64) So if you can find out how many memory slots are occupied then your question is answered. If answer A above is accurate, it seems to say he knows that the machine has 2 empty slots -- but how does he know that Newegg (or Lenovo) didn't us 4x4GB memory sticks?
