I am about to put together a new budget rig. Is anyone using the 8400 Coffee Lake Quad Core I3 with this Mobo if so is it working good? Also using the G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200. Just trying to avoid any issues before ordering.

Also, if you go with this setup, make sure you go into BIOS and enable the profile on the RAM chip or you won't get it to run at 3200

No this is a DDR4 board. It supports DDR4 and 8th and 9th generation processors so I would say that CPU is too old according to specifications and Gigabytes's CPU list/chipset and specifications.

Do you lose one or two SATA lines when using M.2.??

Depending on the type of M.2 you use, the most SATA lines lost is 1.

Can I Use an i9 on this motherboard?
