Is there a way to turn off or change the led light it comes with?

Not that I have found. I have tried the NVIDIA LED Visualizer, Asus Tweak II, and EVGA Precision X1, as well as nvidia-smi on Linux, and none of them can control the LED on this card.

what comes in the box cable wise?

Unsure about the exact base clock, but the boost is 1560 MHz in OC Mode
