Will this mount a R9 295x2?

I have a EVGA GTX 980 in mine. It was a close fit once I mounted my 240MM radiator to cool the the CPU. On the fan side of the card I have less than a half inch of clearance. For fans or rads there is only one place to mount them, a bracket at the bottom. The bracket is made so the fans can sit within the holder and be flush. However when mounting a rad the end-tanks do not fit and it sits on top of the holder.   I don't have a back-plate on my card and it barely cleared the end-tank, cleared it but only by a few millimeters. You may also have to get longer tubing so you are able to mount the rad on the front side instead of the back. Keep in mind as well (but you may not care) if you have loud fans and are not also water cooling the CPU, it can be annoyingly loud. Luckily the 980 runs pretty cool with fans the majority of the time running at 30-50%.

your all set but i believe that the impact VIII is ready equipt with u.2 so the adapter isn't needed, (also be careful when buying your 750 i have seen some people accidentally buy the pcie as apposed to the u.2 version). also if you aren't planning to do video editing I would go with an air cooler and an i5(i5 because you may want to upgrade to be able to do some oculus gaming)

how ever if your like me you may just want to drain your wallet

Can you remove the red clips/feet of the case so I could repaint them?

The red feet are a rubbery (probably silicon rubber) material that is held on by double-sided tape. So yes, you could remove them if you had some tape to reattach them, but I'm not sure what you could paint them with that would stick.

I lost one of the grommets for my case is there anyway to buy a new one?

So, can you fit an CD drive in it? I'm a bit confused about it.

Does it need any usb 2.0 headers from the motherboard?

It only has 3.0 at front IO, no 2.0

Question 7

How big of a power supply can I install in this case? The specs say "...up to 220mm". Is that length, height, or depth? It looks like the power supply shelf is open ended, so the "height" won't matter. Just worried about the length and width.

so there is no optical drive....how do you install windows? external usb drive?

you can always conect your optical drive just as a temporary while you install the windows just pull a sata and power from the supply and laeve it outside the case while you install everything when your done simply unplug :)
