7 Years and still going strong!

Pros: Easy access and easy to work on. Sure its small but its durable and the handle is rugged. Lian Li is a great case.

Cons: I've had no issues at all with this case.

Love this case!

Pros: Fantastic size!
Very sturdy case!
Seems durable

Cons: A little dated for a modern PC.
(No need for HDD's or a ROM Drive in a modern mini PC)

Other Thoughts: Got a mini ITX BOoard from ASRock with wifi that fit beautifully.
Ended up ordering a mesh ROM cover from Lian Li to add a little more ventilation, not sure if needed.
Used a dremel tool to cut out the hard drive bays and mounted a 90mm radiator for liquid CPU cooler from Corsair. Got a turbine style GPU (full size was a tight fit) and a few 30mm fans to add positive pressure to the case(Mounted inside drive bay). Full HD gaming my GPU stays in the 60's and my CPU(7900k) in the 40's. Idle CPU stays roughly room temperature.. Could not be happier!

You only get once, don't buy.

Pros: At first i was in love, Now i can't even use the thing. At it's core this is one of the nicest cases I've ever come across. It looks good, it's portable, it can house a large number of drives and a long graphics card.

Cons: However, as nice as this case may be. There is one fatal design flaw, the plastic clips that hold the side panels on. After about eight months of ownership i installed another HDD, after opening my case seven out of the eight tabs snapped. After further inspection i noticed how brittle and cheaply made they are. The worst part is that i checked online and there are only a few sites which sell replacement tabs and some are charging up to five dollars per tab. There are eight tabs per side!

Other Thoughts: I can now no longer close my case, the remaining TAB is insufficient to hold the side panel on. I am torn between purchasing an entirely different case, or shelling out up to eighty dollars to fix the one i have.

Do not, under any circumstances purchase this case. Unless you plan on opening this case ONCE, and i truly mean once *i only ever opened mine once*. I love Lian-LI cases but this one let me down in the long run

Still the best

Pros: Updated review. It's still a fantastic case after almost a year and a half. It's small, yet fits everything you need (as long as you do your research before buying parts). It's mobile, and the handle on it is really sturdy. I've taken it with me to many places many times.

Cons: one thing that recently came up with the case, are little plastic pieces which hold the pins on the back of each panel gave up, and one side does not close properly. HOWEVER, after reaching out to lian-li, they replied right away and sent me the replacement parts.

Other Thoughts: Go lian-li!

It looks better than pics

Pros: Not a cheap build, but only mini itx case withGREAT handle.
Well built, well thought out, and attractive.
Main issues are the price, hard drive cage hogging interior space, no cutout on mobo tray for cpu cooler mounting, cpu and gpu overheat if overclocking, limited space for cable management.
At 30% off and free shipping only $105, solved.
Remove hd cage because no need for 3.5 hdd's, solved.
Made pattern for mobo tray and dremeled cutout behind cpu for cpu cooler mounting bracket intallation/removal, solved.
Cpu overheating addressed with Swiftech H140X watercooler to replace factory 140mm fan, and Prolimatech Ultra Sleek Vortex 120 at bottom of case blowing cool air up on gpu.
Cable management space increased by using Silverstone 500w sfx-lg psu instead of full size atx psu.

Cons: No cutout on motherboard tray to add/remove cpu cooler with complete dissasembly. Cutout is only really necessary case mod.
FIltered opening on case bottom begs for 120mm fan, but double slot gpu leaves only 20mm clearance, requiring a slim 120mm fan.
The Prolimatech ultra sleek vortex 120 was only one with longer lasting ball bearings I found.

Other Thoughts: Install low height ram to allow airfow over motherboard. No room for air cooling requires liquid cpu cooling.
There is no room for a push/pull 140mm rad, so the higher effeciency/cost of swiftech H140x is necessary.
Asus Maximus VII Impact with 16gb kingston hyper x savage ddr3 2400 low profile.

Fan Noise

Pros: Handle-compact-well built ideal for normal use whisper quiet.

Cons: Been reading all of tje comments wish I had the knowlege may of you do. Needed a compact tower for flying both Flight Sim & X-Plane. FSX is a resource hog. Had one of my Lan buddies suggest this and he helped me do the build.I5-Corsair 750-16g-GTX 660 No additional cooling. The OEM fan drives me nuts constantly speeding up and down even with headset. Whisper quiet for normal computer internet etc. Short of going back to my Antec 900 or larger tower how do I modify this or is this not a tower for an resource intensive hog like flight Sim. Help

Break out the power tools and zip ties

Pros: There is nothing more attractive then a dark coloured, single sheet of brushed aluminum to wrap the body of this case, it's attactive, it's adorably tiny, very light weight, and of course, the handle makes this portable (for a desktop environment)
For such a tiny thing I am impressed with how much can be crammed into this, with an ATX sized modular power supply, and a full sized GPU, plus still have room for numerous hard drives and an optical drive, this thing can really pack a punch in the computing world regardless of it's (did I mention adorable?) size.

Cons: I'd recommend reading my "Other thoughts" section to determine if this case is right for you, but as for cons:
The small size is also it's killer. There was some strange construction for the front fan making it neigh impossible to remove without deconstructing the whole case, as well as it lacks a rear exhaust fan. The airflow in this case is a tough one. Using a heatsink and the large power supply, coupled with the RAM it essentially creates a wall that restricts the airflow over the case. Using the highly professional and very difficult to master skill of "hand measuring", when I removed the side panel of the case while running the system under load I found little air being exhausted out the back while nearly a hurricane of air being blown out the side just underneath the PSU and GPU, which is a problem as the side panel does not have vents.
Also, like any tight, ITX case, building the system may be tough to do. thank goodness I used a modular power supply as I found it was easiest to plug all the wires into their respective spot on the motherboard and leaving them unplugged from the PSU, I then managed my cables appropriately, and finally, put the PSU in and plugged all the cables into it.

Other Thoughts: Your experience may vary, but for my build I ran into numerous problems that resulted in my needing to use some extra tools and elbow grease.
Starting at the bottom, and the most simplest: THIS CASE CANNOT REST ON THE FLOOR IF THERE IS CARPET.
If you are using a large GPU, this case CANNOT do that. Running some test, the GPU exceeded 85 Celsius,
Secondly: There IS a drive mount on the bottom of the case: for a 2.5" drive.
The Hard drive cages were massive and restricted airflow, since i only use one HDD, I decided to remove the hard drive cages and just mount my hard drive to the bottom, of course, the mounting points were not meant for a 3.5" HDD, so this resulted in me having to make shift a 3.5" bay to 2.5" converter by utilizing an old Corsair drive tray and some zip ties (and rubbed grommets to keep the drive from touching the bottom, of course)
Secondly the optical drive is loaded in from the back, and so if your optical drive has a housing around the front face, it may be difficult to mount it. I had to break off this front frame of my LG BluRay drive - which opened up a whole new can of worms, but that is unrelated to this case.
Finally, the air flow in this case is so poor you are going to need to do some work at home. Bust out the power drill.
Due to the fact that I removed the hard drive cage, there is actually room to fit another 140mm fan. Running some tests I found underload this reduced my temperatures by about 5-10 celsius as an intake fan.
Additionally, adding vents just below the power supply where the hot air seems to want to exhaust from helps keep the air moving. Although I cannot say anything conclusively, my plan is to mount a couple of small 40mm exhaust fans here to help move the air out better. The hypothesis is that this should help the airflow and cool the system considerably.

In my opinion, this case barely deserves the 4, but I could not recommend it as a first-time ITX build case.
If you build it with just an SSD and no optical drive, this build would probably be considerably easier to do.
Approach this build with caution.

One other note:
While reading through the Q&A on New Egg I noticed someone had mentioned this can fit a full sized tower heatsink. No. Your options are a low profile heatsink (I used the coolermaster Gemin II) or a in-the-box closed loop 140mm radiator - however getting the radiator to fit would be very tough.

Well made, not so well designed.

Pros: Well built, precise and functional parts. Attractive in its simple exterior appearance. It has a handle.

Cons: Front fan mount system and position; lack of recessed back (or other protective measure for the ports on the back of the case); The apparent bottom fan filter has no actual place to mount a fan, and would be too close to the video card if you did. You would have to reverse the front case fan to create negative pressure for air to enter the bottom anyway, so why is there even a filter? Also, that false wall in front that the fan is mounted to is bare aluminum and is sorely visible through the black front case perforations. It is an ugly bi-product of the design.

Other Thoughts: It is close to being great in many ways, but too often misses the mark. I just don't know what market they were aiming for. If you're going for a very tiny portable build, the TU-100 seems a better choice - specifically as a portable APU work computer but not a high-power gaming lan-box. The TU-200 being larger suggests more space for large components, but this space seems poorly applied. Everything is an inch too short, or an inch too wide or an inch too low. Why such a large HD cage? I have room for a large video card, but no way to properly cool it. There is no room for a large CPU cooler, but I have no convenient way to mount a radiator.

Seriously, they should have allowed real computer users to evaluate this case before committing to production. It has a handle, right? So it's meant to be portable. You have to think of what situations a portable computer would be used in. For us, it appealed as a college dorm computer which can be toted back home to Mom's house every semester. I built this thing and promised a gaming machine. I was able to squeeze in a 120mm radiator into the HD cage and put a lovely Vegas LED fan in the nose. It was a challenge which required some minor machining, the moving of components and the removeal and application of several aluminum pop-rivets. I also had to rob a 1" power supply spacer from another case in order to allow room for the radiator hoses. This served a secondary purpose of protecting the back ports, which was one of my complaints.

Bottom line: if you fit the very narrow demographic which the engineers seem to have aimed at, then you will find this a very well made case. I am sincerely impressed by the assembly, machining and quality of components; enough to look more closely at other Lian Li designs. I don't think I would buy this case again for myself. There are others which handle ITX builds much better and would require far less modification for customization.
